let me ask a few people that on my the rx7club. and let me do some searching as to why they designed it that way... there is a bunch of "know it alls'" on that forum. i'll get back at ya.

oh yeah i have a S5 rx7.

not much different from S4 to S5, all the suspension is interchangable between the 2nd gens. i'm not sure about 15 to 20 degrees but they are little more aggresive than other cars i've worked on, the S4 and S5 suspensions are is very ahead of its time. Plus mazda's main goal was to enhance suspension techniques for the RX7. What other car out there, you gonna find 50/50 weight ratio distribution.

i just emailed msa about a week ago... they said they wouldnt be able to receive a complete set in 8 to 10 weeks... so i just went to black dragon...

wow if i had my rx7 as a donner car and had all the tool to do this, i would in a heart beat... its a perfect swap to a five lug from a S5 rx7 and plus using the brake set up that the rx7 has would be awesome for the 240z. the rx7 comes with a pretty decent front 4 piston calipers... what model ground controls are you using, i know its not for the 240z (the thread looks longer) and i know thats not for a rx7, i have ground controls on my 7 and look nothing like that?...

agree... kybs agx on my rx7 and love them to death... i have them wrapped in ground controls. i love the combo.

i have a S5 rx7... thats really interesting... i never thought that work out, thats an easy swap. Will have to take a look at this next time. I'm guessing you have to customize a sway bar though. wouldnt be hard if you had the right tools

just trim the plates on the 260... give it a nice paint coat to set it off, it'll be good to go.

are they vented or rotors or solid rotors, there are two different kinds of s12+8 calipers. If the calipers are for a vented rotor you will need do some modification to your hub to swap them out. If the calipers are on a solid rotor they should be a direct bolt on, with a little trim of the dust plate cover and bend of the brake fluid line. there's a lot of info on the first page of the stickies in this sub forum. take a galnce at it and read it through before performing your own brake swaps, thats your life depends on them.

sorry to bump an old thread of guys, i've decided to go with the MR2 illuminas, will i need a complete set for front and rear? and it seems like the above "stickies" info/photos are all of the front strut sectioning, how much would i need to section in the rears with the illuminas/groundcontrol combo? the ride height i am shooting for is about 3.5in lower than stock height. thanks in advance.

nice man... too bad the azenis dont come with good sizes in wheels for 16's... trying to find some nice tires that wont be stretched to much for my wide ass wheels.
