thanks for letting me know, did it have any trim pieces, like the 240z plates? also at winton pull your part there were 2 240's and i think at least 2 280z's lots of good interior parts on those.

situation: one piston with an unballanced metal disk acting like the crank. if enegery is conserved, when the piston is at TDC going to BDC, the piston is accelerating and it's Kenetic Energy is increasing. scnese the enegry must come from somewhere i think it would come from the inertia of the crank. so therefore from TDC to halfway down it's stroke it would be accelerating and its KE would be increacing, this would also be the case for from BDC to halfway up the stroke. when the piston is decelerating from halfway up the stroke to tdc or bdc, it's KE is going down and it has to go somewhere, so it increases the inertia of the crank. so i think that when the poston is acelerating, the crank is slowing down and when the piston is decelerating, the crank is accelerating. i think. -

thanks 73Turbo240z i tried your map and now at the same boost my clutch starts to slip, so that has to show somthing improved there.

at least you get messages that make sense. i get about two messages like this each day use studied next latter. goes happened thus? anybody reference promised yours slow, side purpose anything. you immediate fire somewhere. hard social fire already not? wrong across bad prison latter back. wanted promised suddenly again. parents principle fly off. raise principle friends few.

man i've been working 5+ hours for the last week on these and i cant wait for one of these things to hit the road. the 62' 356B is my dads, he's had that for about 20 years and i can remember working on it with him when i was 5 or so bleeding the brakes. i wouldn't be into cars if it wern't for him

yeah they are z33 wheels. my plan is to get the 70 ready to sell and after i sell that i will swap over the drivetrain in my 76 and put it in the 72. and then i will get the 76 running again and i will sell that. so eventually i will be back to only one z and i think that is the way to go.

the plan was to buy a earlyer z so i wouldnt have to smog it because i have a little feeling that i would fail visual. so i was looking on craigslist for a nice car that mabye needs a little work so i could get it for cheap. i would then over the next few months swap over all the stuff i could on my 76 that would fit. then i found it, a 5/70 240z 4400 z ever made that was fairley rust free. it only cost me $1000 which was just the right price for me. the car didnt run because one carb was bad, but the guy threw in a extra set of 3 screw su's. so i threw on the other set and ran it out of a gas tank and it actually worked I LOVE THE SIMPLICITY OF THESE THINGS, i have MS&S on the 76 and it's great for a well modifyed car, but just to get the damn thing running you cant beat su's. so then i was cleaning it up, repairing what little rust there was when i saw another add where the guy was claiming to have a 72 that he had completly modded the suspension and brakes, but the engine was bad(perfect!!). if i got this i would save my self hours of work and thousands of dollars for parts that this car already had on it. the guy was asking $2k for i and i just had that much that i could spend. so i went to check it out and i was exactly what i wanted. TONS of suspension mods but a bad engine that i planned on swaping out. so i bought it and somehow my parents actually allowed me to keep 3 z's at the house while i sold the 70. well the pics speak for themselves. oh yeah and he didn't even mention the 5 lug swap with the 350z wheels in his craigslist add. he rolled the fender lip to fit some flairs that he didnt get to, mabye ill throw some ZG's on there. 5 lug swap with 240sx calipers with parking brake, oh yeah and GC coilovers with illuminas. almost forgot to show the money shot. this was the ONLY rust i have found so far he has 0 miles on all these parts and he just let it sit for 2 years. he threw in a ton of other parts too. oh and i tried to run the car out of a gas can without touching anything it started up just fine with a little smoke(all cylinders read 150psi while one read only 95) here's the add he still needs to sell his 73 which has a VERRY nice v8 swap in it and i can attest to the quality of his work http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/123292828.html so what do you say, do you see a beast in the making?

the plugs did look dirty rich not a good tan color. well im off to autozone. i've got a pretty standard setup. stock block/turbo/dizzy/head/injectors. jsk fuel rail with pressure guage. stock turbo fpr running msns 3"dp 60mmtb z31 turbo coil mk3 ic stock turbo valve cover

this problem must have resulted from upgrading my injectors from stock turbo ones to mercedes 380cc injectors. also at the time i upgraded to a walbro 255 pump originaly i got the car running after tuning and everything was on the up and up. a few days after that i wanted to tune a little more and take the boost up to 15 psi. the engine felt GREAT after that and i went to bed happy. the next day i had to work at a guys house so i go there and when i leave i try to start the car and it sputerd ran real rough then died. i kept trying to get it to start till the battery ran low. about an hour later i got a jump start and it started with little problem and i drove it home. then the next day i go drive it and about half way into the drive it starts running rough, like its on 3 or 4 cylinders. i park the car and try to work on it to see if theres a problem with wiring or somthing like that but all looks good. i end up having to tow the car back home. then the car wouldnt even start, every so often it would sputter.i then thought that it might be cloged injectors(i hooked up the injectors before putting them in the car and their spary patterns looked good) so i swapped them out for the old turbo injectors and loaded up Mobyes setup values and still it wouldnt start. i have sofar taken out the relay board and the ecu and checked and cleaned them and both looked good. the ecu also tested out with the simulator. before i was getting intermitted spark, but now i think i have spark, i can hear all injectors firing when i crank it. i have no idea what to do now the only two things i can think of is the coil or hei unit being bad. one think i did which was probably bad was left the ignition key on and that made the coil boiling hot, but i still think i have spark. tell me what to do here sorry for the long post.

i would love to see and hear a z thats got a 10000+ rpm range, but i think someone in the area with a turbo, or a sbc z should show him what their relatively low revving beast can do and we might have a convert on our hands. edit: (damn that's a run on sentence)

List your dumbest auto related screw up

two years ago forgot to change put oil in after changing it. the motor ran for 2 months untill it wiped a rod bearing. i dont think ill be doing that again anytime soon. -
i went from my stock turbo injectors to mercedes 036 injectors. and when i plug in the required fuel in the MS constants it gives me 8ms for the required fuel. running 14.7afr. and when i started her up for the first time it hardly ran. i ended setting the required fuel down to 5.5 where it idled nicely. i upgraded the fuel pump too so the injectors are getting the required fuel. i havnt driven the car yet, but i will soon then i will get a log of whats happening. i thought all i needed to do was to change the required fuel and that would be it. any help here would be great, thanks.

the first tires i've ever bought were gforce sports and i think i made a damn good choice. althought i havnt raced with them yet, but i've been on some wicked roads. -
if it will fit that will be sweet, just dont go changing you injecters every other day
