To make things even easier, JTR now makes 280ZX Chevy mounts: http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/Parts_DATZX_MountingInstructions.html , stick with a Chevy. Maybe you could modify these for a Ford.

Also did you notice the front mounted mag?

You mentioned that you cleaned the blinker/high beam switch, but did you take appart the hazzard switch and clean that? Those contacts have to be clean for the hazzard/blinker to work. Not sure why new bulbs didn't work Your CD is wired to an ignition hot, that's why you loose your stations. There should be 2 power wires, one to Acc, to turn on the CD. The other to a constant hot fuse for your stations.

Sounds like when you have the key on the start position, you aren't always making contact. Try replacing the keyed ignition.

I would try! You need to go to small claims court ( $1500 or under) .Print out your post w/pics, take picks with you, any ad you have, your witness, and the piece of paper from the seller, also any emails with the seller. The big question is did the seller state "as is" ? Even if he did, he did mis-represent the motor, I think you could win.
