  5. I don't know...I find they look to big for the car. I'm using the California style mirrors, they look good on the car, but the mirrors are a little small to see well, especially on the passenger side. So I added a 3" convex mirror on the passenger side ( out side edge), and added a 2" convex mirror on the drivers side ( inside edge ). Now i have no problems seeing anything coming from behind, and it doesn't look to bad.
  6. Can you twin turbo a 10:1 compression EFI V8 on pump gas with out blowing it? What kind of turbos would you need? Could you use two small JY turbos?
  7. I found this, a Ford 6 has the 3.62 inch bore: "FORD. As with the other two pickups, you have a choice of a six or V8 engine in the Ford pickup line. The overhead valve six is even smaller than the Dodge with only 223 cubic inches. The bore is 3.62 inches, the stroke is 3.60 inches, compression ratio 8.3 to 1 and the horse power is 139." http://www.docmo.net/dodgepowergiants/0300/ddpg0310.htm Here is also a old Ford V8 with that bore: "The little brother of these power mills is a 190-horse V8 that's used in the Custom and Custom "300" series. It's The smallest V8, being 272 cubic-inch, with 3.62 bore and 3.30 stroke. Compression ratio is 8.6 to 1. A double-barrel carb is used." http://www.1957ford.com/history/history3.htm
  8. I woundn't be caught dead in that!
  9. No clearance issues at the engine, but the collector is very close to the steering shaft. I could have ground the flange a bit, but I added a U joint to move the shaft far away.

  14. CAR TROUBLE A blonde pushes her BMW into a gas station. She tells the mechanic it died. After he works on it for a few minutes, it is idling smoothly. She says, "What's the story?" He replies, "Just crap in the carburetor" She asks, "And, how often do I have to do that?"
