  1. It's been fun watching it grow!!
  2. Here's a cool flashlight that every car should have! http://www.foreverflashlight.com/
  3. If you look at the differences of the pipes, the ones you want to buy will work better because the outer pipes are welded into the middle pipes making them closer to the block. The upper pic is what I have and they stick out further. I would buy the thermaltech ones if I had to do it again.
  4. It sounded like a V8 ,untill you opened the hood and there was a 6 in there!
  5. They are really good quality headers. But they were in the way of my steering rod, so I added a u-joint in the middle, not a big deal. It depends where your engine is sitting.
  6. Cool! looking really good! Another solid axle car, love it!
  7. I used headers from Zig's at: http://www.zigsstreetrods.com/zigs.html Go to "headers" then scroll down to RW37. Those headers you showed look like they would tuck closer to the block, mine stick out form the block a bit.
  8. Damn, I didn't know those were in the 2001 T56s! Sorry about that.
  9. Go to main page http://www.hybridz.org/main.htm scroll down to Tech info, and check "installing a T56"
  10. What a waist of an early Z! Morons, not only were they racing on the street, but the road wasn't even straight! It had two curves in it
  11. I used 10 gauge, works fine! My battery cable is 00

    it came in!!!

Sounds like a bitching engine! How much was it?
  13. I have a weld-in sump on my tank also. I made a small bracket, that bolts to the tank lip, that holds my fuel pump at the same level as the sump. go to my web page, scroll to the bottom and go to page 5. http://members.tripod.com/~SnowSurfer/mikekz1.html
  14. lol Yum!! http://www.tshirthell.com/images/contestpics/a31_001.jpg
  15. Ryan, I have a 105 amp alt. But I took out the stock amp gauge and installed a volt gauge. Not sure if the alt will kill the amp gauge, but it is a good idea to get rid of it, besides a volt gauge is more accurate. Buy the way all you have to do is connect the two heavy wires of the amp gauge to bypass it.
  16. Since we are talking locks, my problem is locking the doors. You can't push the plunger down then close the door like a normal car, and I can't lock the doors with the key. What I'm doing right now is open the hatch, and push down on the plungers with a stick, then lock the hatch. I can unlock the doors with the key. any ideas?
  17. Nice truck! As for the weight, it will be close to the stock weight give or take 100lbs.
  18. I just saw two 350Zs last night at the Georgia Z Club meet. They look oversized to me, too wide. The engine is stuffed in there, no room to work on it. No way that I can see to stuff in a V8 down the road. The interior is very nice, I think it was the best part of the car.
