  1. Thanks.... (hopefully it will start to look much better soon ) Acutally none of the lines are connected to the regulator yet, I put one of them on last night... I rerouted the return line to the tank up the firewall. (not fastened yet, its the SS hose to the lower left of the pic) In that pic.. the hose barb on top is the vacuum.. the one on the right will connect to the fuel rail and the one on the left will return to fuel tank. Hopefully I will have them all on by tonight.... I'll put up some new pics then for more clarity...
  2. Come on.... Nobody has any insight on this?
  3. Maxima....right, they are off my RED '99 SE Maxima that had the Limited titanium package.... I thought about using them.... but I think I'm going to want wider wheels then these....
  4. I was working on the brakes the other day and decided to see what these wheels looked like.... Not to bad if I say so myself...
  5. I would think that the pads would be the culprit. If I was going through the expense of replacing those.... I would get a new cam at the came time...
  6. Ok, almost got the car up and running again... need some final pointers... 1. There is pipe coming out of the crankcase that goes into the PCV valve before entering the intake.... which is two completely different sizes at each end....(pipe and pcv valve) what have you guys done instead of the factory pipe? 2. The vacuum hose between the valve cover and the thottle body..... Since I have the 240sx TB on there now and no place for that vacuum line to go.... do I put a filter on the valve cover or block it off??... should it even be vented to the outside air?...in its stock form, I noticed an rpm drop when you took the oil cap off....
  7. I think it can be done with an aftermarket FI system...not the stock system.
  8. took a bit to d/l, but its pretty cool.... but.... almost half of it is credits
  9. I have some pics Here I just put 4 new ones of the regulator relocation, fuel rail, and new throttle linkage.
  10. I can get you some pics probably tomorrow... I have relocated the pressure regulator to the firewall (I hope it never means that literally ) I am using push lock hose in my application... no hose clamps needed, it good for 300 psi I believe....
  11. Hehe..... that's pretty good...
  12. Get some good Nimh batteries... I can't find the link to the tests but the Powerex batteries are supposedly the best... http://www.thomas-distributing.com/mh-4aa220.htm Also look at http://www.nimhbattery.com/mhc401fs.htm for a charger... But wait.... there's more !! I picked up some decent panasonic 1600 mah nimh batteries with a charger at Big Lots for $9.99..... ( so I picked up two of them )
  13. I miss mine sometimes...... It was regeared, had polished wheels, timing advance and no rear fender, and a flourescent shield when I sold it,...... and a bit of road rash on one side
  14. I just bought a Canon A40 2.1 megapixel camera... It takes great pictures... Pretty simple point and shoot camera.. does panoramic shots...etc.. I got no complaints..... Make sure you buy rechargable batteries though..... Digicams eat batteries..
  15. Jeez.... Can't we all just get along...
  16. Seen it... I think its a repost... But some probably haven't seen it yet.... I would LOVE to have that job..
  17. Actually its not really bad.... seems to be localized in the the passenger side floor pan. (water stood in it for god knows how long) I poked on the frame rails.. they are still ok. If I was smart I would have taken the plugs and the carpet out while it was sitting.. A few days before I found it..... I had already mentioned to the wife that I was not going to buy a new car ( I was pondering buying a used Lexus GS400) ... and that I was going to put the money into the Z..... little did I know that I had another part to add to the project
  18. ROFLMAO..... Feel kinda sorry for the guy who owns the bike...
  19. I was in the garage Sunday changing the brakes on the wifes Maxima... and I wanted to see what those wheels would look like on the Z... (Its the 4th gen SE Limited wheels in Titanium.) So, I push the Z out of the garage and proceed to jack it up...... in the process, I noticed a slight bubbling of the rust proofing under the floorpans... I push on it a bit and my fingers went THROUGH THE FLOOR PAN!!.... NOOOOOOooooooo!!!.. This really sux.... this car was relatively rust free up until it had to sit outside, undriven for three years..... This is heatbreaking.... Now I guess I'll just start from scratch..(AGAIN).... through the entire car and build it again.... (After I get the EFI system running correctly, that is)... Oh, BTW..... Those rims looked very good on the car.... I'll post a pic this evening..
