    You could use Adobe Premiere....Ulead Video Studio.... or Vegas Video.. Vegas video is pretty simple..... and still has some pretty good editing tools...

    Sounds like something electrical is fried... or a fuse.. Could have done something to the AFM or the computer... Check all your fuses and fuse links.. That one may be hard to diagnose..

    This may be something to look at also... I, once (years ago) , hammered on the inside edge of the the hub while changing it out. After I reinstalled it, It had a wobble and a noise that sounded like what you are referring to .. Turns out that I hit it a bit too hard and the hub edge was slightly warped... just enough to be noticeable. I bought a rubber faced mallet not long after that incedent...
