The only reason I did my rb26 was because I was in Japan. There is no way at the time i could have afforded to due it in the US. I go the entire drive train plus a crapload of other stuff for the swap for less then what you can get an rb26 with a cut harness from ebay. If you want to do a rb25or rb26 right and have 450-500 HP you need to have 10-15K in the bank easy. I think if you put that kind of money smartly into a v-8 swap you’d have a faster car all around. My 2 cents

Where is it leaking from? there is alittle drain hole in the of the pump.... if its coming from there teh waterpump is bad.

sure your waterpump is not cracked? If you got your engine out of a front cut that was wrecked in the front the waterpump is the first thing on the motor to break. either cracks the waterpump or breaks off the mounting tab on the block.

Hmmm well heathcote is a 1/4 track in austrailia. is there such thing as 1000ft track? It for sure dosnt calculate in any of the ET calculators. its off by about 20 mph atleast

Hey just a suggestion....... nbefore you start running it hard. run your breather hoses. if for some reason you push a little oil out the breather on the turbo side will drip directly on the rear turbo downpipe and may (worst case) cause a fire and will for sure stink up the car.

I think there is a 5 inch BS available also

Last 2 reponses deleted... The swap in question has been done but there is no kit that i know of at this time. The rb26 will fit but will require lots of fabrication.

OMG i just happen to have a amost perfect s13 for this. i say almost perfect cause i got it for free without a motor.... wait... that makes it perfect !!!!!!

I did some readon on this car.... THIS IS NOT AN FD... its a full tube chassis raceprepped car with a carbon body bolted on.

Modified stock IRS kept breaking. decided to go with a backhalve 8.8 should hit the track next summer i hope ;>

Update.... no pics though. My kirkley aluminum seat is in, all the tin you see in the previous pics is now stitch welded in and the shifter mount is welded in and shifter mounted.
