  1. Oh man you didn't get the cams mixed up did you? i do believe they will interchange
  2. My last chassis car had them and i was actually considering pulling them and seeing if they would work in the red Z (stock strut tower). i have a coiuple ideas but they are kiinda pricey to be experimenting with ;<
  3. Well after some grinding i have solved my brake clearance issues. here are some pics of my Frankenstein creation top halve is AZC 3s0 coilover conversion. i sectioned the struts with the lower part of the z31 strut. it has s13 brakes and z32 rotors!!!! now i just need to get pads to see if these rotors will work. anyways here are some pics now all that is left is brake hard lines.
  4. Anyone ever used or seen someone using some sort of strange aluminum struts in the front suspension of a Z with the stock enginge bay and strut housing? I'm pretty sure the strut housing would have to be modified.... maybe the mount moved down a bit. Anyways all inputs welcome. found all kinds of tube chassis cars stuff. i just done want to go that far and my current setup is more of a road course car setup. here is what I'm talking about http://www.strangeen...log/pdf/124.pdf
  5. Is there a specific 18 circuit harness that works best? nim getting ready to order one soon for the Z so can fire up the RB before tearing out everything for paint ;<
  6. Rears are bogart 15X11 with 5.5 backspacing. fronts are your standard 3.5 with 1.75 inch backspacing. I'm looking for some fronts that will match the rear. I'm thinking 16 or 17 inch wheel 6-7 inches wide with 33-38 BS. need something like that to clear the z32 calipers. Most of the front drag wheels just wont fit the Z32 calipers. The bogart wheels i have on the front will fit with s13 calipers with some help of a grinder. anyways here are the pics. Any suggestions on fronts would be much appreciated. I'm really liking these fronts. I think with 2.25 BS they may clear the z32 caliper with a small spacer. Any suggestions would be welcome.
  7. damn Scottie i feel for you. it will turn around keep your head up.
  8. The ground from the ECU to chassis ground. took it off cleaned to bare metal and reconnected... didn't have another issue.
  9. Had the same issues with mine a long time ago. it was a bad ground.
  10. OK so it runs good all im saying is it would run better, boost higher with an intercooler. if the outside temp is 75 degrees, my air intake temps are 75-79 degree at the top end of a 1/4 mile run. running 750 rwhp at 31 PSI
  11. that carb isn't cooling anything. you would be able to run higher PSI and be more in the safe zone running an intercooler. Just my 2 cents.
  12. nevermind i found the answer on their site. The Subtle Z was designed primarily as a street kit, with the front fenders bolting on in place of the stock fenders. They can be attached with Dzuz fasteners for racing application. The Subtle Z is 1.5 inches wider than stock, on all four corners.
  13. Couldnt find a good key word to find my answer without sifting thru all the trash. Anyways, i have seen/heard 3 inches per side to 3 inches or less total. anyone have them installed that can post pics and also verify measurement. im looking at using them along with the ZZC gnose on my drag car. Thanks in advance if you have a link to this info previously answered post a link i couldnt find it.
  14. just out of curiocity do you have connections in japan on selling this stuff there?
  15. No thats how you know its a tight fit!!! oh yea dont forget letting all the air out to ;>
  16. New wheels finally fitted. may have to trim the rear part of the fender a bit to compensate for tire expansion but overall they fit awesome. it took a little creativity to get them on and off but they work. basically have to disco the shocks and lower the rear end a tad.
  17. Still interested in above Here are some body work progress pics. I'm just about to strip the rest of the 1/4 panels and prep for bondo and paint prep. using sheetmetal screws to hold the panel place ( poor man's Kliko'>)
  18. What kind of dash is that? did you restore it? whichever it looks good. i have one im trying to figure out if i can repair or just throw a cap on it.
  19. They couldnt powder coat the intercooler brackets for ya??? J/K looks great
  20. I will try a set in a 260 to verify if they fit or not ; )
  21. Interested if price is right. Is this a DIY kit or do you do it?
  22. send me some pics or post them here. very interested in used stuff especially since i will have to trim it to fit the cage.
  23. mine is a 280z dash. after looking closer it actually says 280z right on it i will sell the frp dash for 50 bux plus whatever it takes to box and ship and paypal fees ;>
