  1. What crank are all of you running? The afore mentioned LSR car is spinning a l20a.
  2. I liked the idea of using the a/c to cool a water-air IC. But back to the program, the density of the air can side track you. What is important is how many oxygen molecules are in every liter of air your engine breathes. That water vapor is taking up some of that room, i would think.

  4. 280zx's have much better areodynamics than a S30. I'm not saying what is or isn't possible, just it's a very different game w/S130.

  6. I didn't get time to look at the chassis dyno graph at the show. Could you post it? Admidtly I don't know how the tranny affects the hp/tourqe cross over.

  10. If this is to be used as a "company car" for meetings, and contract acquisitions, then I'ld look for some "class". BMW, M-B, maybe even the caddie.
  11. I really have experince with superchargers. I've been reading Corky Bell's Supercharged! book, and pick up that the long snouts like that can bend from the belt load. I know there are many factors involved and was more courious than critizing.
  12. I swear I read somewhere the the liners increased EGTs. and that was bad for turbo life. Any takers? Otherwise I chalk it up to alot of hype.
  13. Did you install a brace for the front of the SC, up by the pulley?
  14. Anyways back to the z31. You need to get a compressor map for that sucker. It has one just like the turbos, it's the same style compressor. The intake gets plumbed the same way with bov. The drag and ***. load can be quite high, build the mounts solid. I guess I could try to run the numbers if you really wanted, but I would recomend that reading.
  15. Sorry, I really could read most this stuff. It was eerking me. Mtcookson may have the right answers, I couldn't make it that far. But do yourself a havor and read corky bell's Supercharged!. It explains all about this.
  16. Mine was certianly a dirty switch. Just take it apart and clean the contacts. Nothing to fear, no small things jumping out at you or anything.

  18. Most likely so... I'd stay away from dell. They just don't last very well at all.
  19. most Cent. superchargers have an internal gear ratio to speed the compressor up. Who knows if this does. Corky Bell believes that the Cent. have the hightest peak efficiencies. Supercharging the Z always intrested me, do you have links to good screwsuperchargers?

  21. Remove the battery Hold the ON switch for +5sec. Plug in and try it, That should reset the bios and such.
  22. Then I remembered what a C3 lis like inside. Where the heck are they fitting that drive shaft? It tight in there. Looks like fun none the less
