  1. If the Wi. market is like here in Minneapolis, you should pay less than asking. I'ld guess 10%. Most of what I see around here lowers by like 20k before it sells, but I don't think you suffered the same increase in pricing we did.
  2. If you're really worried, put a pipe in the place of the rad. Some water is better than none.
  3. That was about 20hp with a turbo back exhaust system tested on a stock car. Heres the page. http://www.angelfire.com/extreme/280zxt/page11.html
  4. WOW, not my '97, that's for sure. The tow load is a little low on the subes. with the 2.2l I think I'm rated at 2k lbs.
  5. Just as everyone says read Maximum Boost for turbos, Read Supercharged!, also by Corky Bell, and gives good ideas on how much power is going to be use by the blower, and... well everything else really.
  6. Better control of coolant speeds, not having to worry pump cavitation during high rpm use.
  7. I'm confused at your setup. What type of supercharger? How is the intake plumbed, carb-super-engine?
  8. Try being in the "midwest barrier". It's not much fun, I haven't seen any deals like this around here.
  9. The question is what head is on it now? What year zx?
  10. I suspect that how much overlap you want to run has a lot to do with the amount of backpressure compared to the intake pressure. e.g TimZ has more intake pressure than exhaust backpressure.
  11. I have seen freshly updated pc w/ IE 7 have problems. Not fond of the program yet. I agree w/ z-hag.
  12. Avg now joined with an anti-spyware product. I would load that and run it. I just had to deal with a machine that brought your 1.5mb dsl to it's knees.
  13. Yes, but then the heat would be on all the time. The blower always sends air through the heater core is my understanding. BTW I have the same problem, but I don't use the heater much up here.
  14. For a uberturbo L I wouldn't use the MSA kit. Get forged custom pistons and longer rods. Also check what Timz and Jeffp have done.
  15. The nice thing about hijack this is it shows other parts that the adware likes to hide in, like the browser helper objects. If you straight edit the reg. you'll miss those. I've had good luck with MS defender ( which also lets you modify the start up items) and Ewido ( now partnered with AVG).
  16. I'll trade your snow for my real cold weather. Maybe the high was double digits, those 10+mph wind gusts hurt.
  17. Check with the local authorities. Under certain cases, we can have a blue light by the tails in Mn.
  18. A lot of this has to do with the contact patch of a narrow tire being equal to the contact patch of a wider tire. I'm not sure if that's true. Things I do know.... Rubber's coeffeicent of friction increases as the pressure decreases. Rubber is kind of like velco, it hooks into the other surface. It requires extra force to seperate the two. So IF the wider tire has a greater contact patch for a given vehicle weight, the wider tire has a higher friction and the more contact gives more velco to rip apart.
  19. Are you using the N47 head? I thought they came w/ dished pistons to start with......
  20. a little late now, but if you use the f8 key there is an option to disable reboot on error. then you can normally read the blue screen. normally a hardware problem if you erased the HDs. a lot of memory problems.
  21. Don't get to gung-ho on the mega pixel count. Some of the high pixel counts on small ccds start causeing interference with each other. Sorry, I really don't play with the stuff and can't get more model type info, but I have seen amazing stuff w/5 mega pixel cameras. The top end Espon inkjets are amazing what they can do.
