  5. a little light for heavy work or body work. I vote good general purpose. Quite and cont. duty cycle, you can let it run for a long time.
  6. you don't really need trackless windows for the t-tops, but the same can be said for a convert. It's really a better feeling of openess without the bar at the top of the window when the top is off.
  7. Dang, I think I remember something about western union forgeries. But not enough to really say anything. Of course fake checks and the like are federal offenses if across state lines. If you can get proof of were he lives that will help. And so true about what wayne said. The bank will come after you if the check bounces. At least you didn't get ripped off
  8. The only way my work will do business (selling computers) to someone over seas' is wire transfer to our bank. then we ship. I have seen third party check companies send us checks for the seller. Read those carefully and even call them. Some will not , and state so, assure funds are backing the check.

  13. The pickup talk reminded me of the SBC in the S-10s.
  14. Earlier ones had the 5m, but I'm forgeting the years. If i only had the space, my brother let his go. I bet I could find the junkyard if you want, and live in Mn.
  15. toyota cressida sadly i forget which years had the 7mg
  16. I remember jeffp saying he was advised to stay at 3.0l. that boring it larger might allow the cylnder walls to flex under the boost he wanted to run.
  17. Of course we can. But why?? Like this will never happen agian. Why must people insist on that type of stuff. There is a good reason why fed. insurance would require you to raise your stuff if it gets flooded. silly people, just move the city now.
  18. I hate you. there is nothing like that here
  19. Is this only a problem with the Z springs. I'm looking at replacing the springs/struts on my 82zx, and would like to avoid this hassel. What are some good spring rates for hard street use?
  20. cable is in a neighborhood loop. You share the bandwidth with every one on the same loop as you. The dsl line is direct to your house. Last time I looked at cable modems, they were less secure than the dsl modems. Of course that's all augmented by those cute firewall/router/ect.. boxes.
  21. I don't know what they used, but my 7xxx Al Trek bike is glued. Liftime frame warrenty to boot.
  22. heck, the stealership quoted my friend $200 for A hub cap for his 2000 monte.
  23. When helping my dad look at tigs, nothing could compare to the options and ratings of the ThermalArc welders (controls are a little complex). the dynastys seemed to have short duty ratings compared to the similar powered units.
