  4. Mus.. watch those engine mounts. My friend broke them on his stock SHO and was told it was kinda common. The engine falls on the rack
  5. The US doesn't get diesels because of the smog laws. Partly the US has had higher sulfur fuels than Europe that made them smell bad, but now the new smog laws are the same for gas and diesel. The high compression of the diesels makes for high NOx, and particulate emssions have to be dang near zero.
  6. I would be more worried about the drive loss inherent in going though so many medium changes.

  8. I'ld like the saftey of a harness, but the fact that I couldn't change the radio if I was strapped in always has me thinking again about it. I don't think I could live with that as a DD
  9. Wow, that sucks. It's cool you have neighbors that would look for you in a burning building. This make me want to make lists of cd's and other small items. They add up quite a bit. Good luck.

  11. You will need seperate OS installs, One on each partion. Just to clairify 280zwitha383's reply. I would not trust seperate users.
  12. Is the security hole fixed in Ebay's mail system yet? That would be my worry about getting on an approved list.

  17. Prox's thread makes me fess up to my poor 280zx's engine problems. It's stock as far as I know, I've only had it 3yrs. now, wow that long. All of a sudden I started have low oil pressure. The read light on the gage was on at idle and up until about 4k rpms. I got a trusty Harbor freight oil pressure gage and got that adapted and it was reading about 10 psi@ idle and would not increase even at 3k rpms. I didn't want to push it farther with such low oil pressure. After replacing the oil pump, and getting the timing figured out, I now get a loud ticking from the bottom of the engine. Quite loud with the stick on the oil pump. I haven't gotten the stick on the block per say, the car is fully equipted and on ramps, not to much room under there. Any Ideas? thanks
  18. Maybe to late now, But those TA tig are small and light(ish). Very portable if there is a powersource near by. The "handle" is not very conductive for carring it around thou.
  19. I agree.. They have to try living in the rust belt. The S30 crowd is just jealous the zx's have a high top speed
  20. New hatch seals, and other rubber bits the hatch closes on. Readjust the striker/latch. Turn volume down, repostion sub.
  21. I'm pretty sure Honda's have penta style chambers, not Hemi.
  22. Hmmm.. sunroof. At least it will be easy to spot @ the next z meet. You don't see many Zx's w/sunroofs. Even stock they have enough power to get us in trouble. Pratice driving her. wish mine looked or ran that nice.
