  1. Also, double check that it does it with IE. crappy homework pages poorly written may have weird errors with chrome and other browsers.
  2. You can do a budget stroker that works, Norm proved it. But I'm not saying it's easy. I think you would be farther ahead using the stock 2.8 bottom end and put all the money into head work and cam.
  3. Find the IMSA molds that Zforce had. Make McAdam hurry up on those kameari? fenders
  4. The doors are normally left alone because if you widen the doors, you need to move the hinge out or it will interfere with the fender.
  5. You could try asking the both on zcarchat and the zoom facebook page.
  6. My Subaru just had a similar issue. As it warmed up, the oil pressure light would come on at ever higher rpms. 1000 then 1500 all the way up to 2500. The sender acquired a leak, letting pressure bleed off from the switch causing it to trigger. It was a tiny crack and didn't affect the real oil pressure, only lost 2 drops of oil out of it. Sure made me nervous.
  7. Centrifugal superchargers tend to make the most boost at the top of the engines RPM range wither it's 500 rpm or 50,000. you just gear it differently. Don't think you need a high winding engine to make one work good.
  8. At least in my case the metal holder broke, and then welded itself to the hood.
  9. Never seen a wasp major with the superchargers in place. They are quite daunting on their own! But more on topic, If you have a two stage design, with both stages at say 3:1. If the final stage puts out say 100 cfm it would need to ingest ~300cfm. So wouldn't the first stage need to put out 300 cfm, or ingest 900 cfm, requiring it to be a larger unit?
  10. My club is slowly dieing. I was looking for why people keep going, or would make them want to join a car club. Thanks
  11. Justin was selling some IMSA molds. Mack purchased a car with the kit, just for the kit.
  12. I for one do appreciate Alan's correctness. Nothing worse than running around with the wrong info.
  13. Let's keep this discussion in context. We are talking about different boost levels on the same configuration. and it's a quick, dirty, rough calculation to get you in the ballpark.
  14. Vacuum works great for testing for leaks. If you want to do a structural test, use water or some less compressible fluid. Then when it fails the shrapnel doesn't fly as far.
  15. He should have filled the tank. I mean only 200 miles? that's like 1/2 full or less.
  16. The system Joel is looking at. If I remember right you're a sys admin or something
  17. Sounds like overkill. The K series cpu's are wasted on a H6x chipset MB. The K sku's are unlocked for overclocking, but the H6x chipsets can't over clock. I think you could go to a i5-2500. you lose hyperthreading and overclocking, but still have 4 cores. You don't need a HDD fan, not on that HDD. I don't like wifi, to many headaches and not as fast as wired. I hate bundled speakers.
  18. I don't know numbers, but on my "stock" motors, I was able to turn my hand holding on to the dampers.
  19. The closer to the delivery point, the more accurate it is. You don't have to compensate for any pressure drop across the feed line from the tank.
  20. Even the cheapest calipers are close enough in all 4 directions, that they work better than fine for this. Bruce was pointing out that checking the middle for wear is ideal, as that is where most of it was happening in his block. That maybe just testing the top and bottom was less than ideal. I'm pretty certain Bruce has no problems with calipers. BTW, Bruce, when do I get to see that ZX of yours?
  21. F1 has had push to pass buttons for a long time now, just how they get the extra power is different. Racing series without these sanctions turn into pay to pass
  22. Now how come I never hear that in respect to BMW M3's ?
  23. Really only the DOCH, 95-00. Not so much with the SOCH up to 04.
  24. I've been on the same quest. These are close http://www.xxrwheels.com/sportmax_507bl_s.shtml# Other wise I liked these on JohnC's old car
  25. That's the 2.5l DOHC, isn't it. Watch the head gaskets.
