  1. Digging up an old topic, but does it matter if the studs are suppose to be from the front or rear from a RX-7? Thanks guys!!
  2. Being Centerlines I am sure they are around $275 a wheel.
  3. Here are a few pics of my little buddy, his name is 'Shorty'. He is 4 years old now.
  4. Great looking car dude. Are you running the 245/45/16's up front too? 5" of backspacing right? Are you running coil overs? Thanks dude.
  5. I haven't decided yet. It will be the last thing to do anyway. I am have a HUGE laundry list yet to do.... Hey guys, I am buying the Draglites BTW. What lug nuts do I need? Anyone know? I'd prefer just to order them from Summit along with the rims.
  6. Okay, I am about to order my Draglites for my 280z. I am going to run a 235/60/15 rear tire. I currently running stock suspension and I am prepared to roll the fender lips as needed. Draglites from Summit in 15x8 come in either 4.5" or 5.5" backspacing. Should I buy the 5.5" BS and space them out as needed or should I just stick with the 4.5" BS and play it safe? Thanks guys!!
  7. Bought Sportmax 002's in 16x8" 0 offset and 245/50/60 tires, can't wait to install them. I am also finally getting around to upgrading the front brakes w/MM 4x4 setup and then the rear to disc later (also MM kit). I have also just bought some fuel system upgrades to feed this beast. 1/2 or -8 AN line, looks like a garden hose!! Stay tuned guys!!
  8. I have a '75 280z coupe. Its mostly stock except a few things, oh and a BBC 454 thumpin' out 600HP/550TQ under the hood. The body is mostly stock though..... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/685533/1
  9. Scary is more like it.... TH350 is doing fine, a couple of leaks though... Its a basic rebuild with a few more clutches and a Trans-Go Stage II shift-kit. I have killed a torque converter though. Now I have a ATI unit that seems to be doing well. I am not sure what you mean by my Car Domain ID, could you re-phrase the question? Thanks!!
  10. I've seen the story before, but never cared for motor plates, or the tubbed/narrowed rear. That's one of proudest things is I was able to do the swap without cutting ANYTHING and could swap out the BBC for the stock L-series in an afternoon. Still, that car brings me back to the Pro-Street era of things.
  11. I've done all my swaps myself, usually without any help at all. The exhaust and engine/heads machine work is the only thing I can't/don't do 'in-house'.
  12. Before & after pics of my Z..... Before: New pics with my MSA front air dam in place, geez it really cleaned up that front end... So, what do you guys think?

  15. I want my 'iron cross' wheels to look like your old ones: How did you polish them? Mine are still factory painted black with polished edges. I was thinking of using chemical striper to remove the paint then start with a buffing wheel on my die-grinder and some polishing compound. I guess I'll see what happens....
  16. Is this something that you are building and selling? Also, is there a way to make it work with stock lower control arms? Thanks!!
  17. True, but my 4" cowl and my lopey cam normally gives it away that my little Z anything but stock. Regardless, I think I will be going with draglites anyway.
  18. I'll see about getting those measurements, but I think they are a bit thicker than .5" inch when made from aluminum. The steel ones are prob .5" thick. Here is a pic of the aluminum one for the R200 from Arizona Z Car:
  19. I would be extremely interested in that.
