  1. I'm no lawyer but I'd tell him to pound sand.
  2. Try the jtr mounts first. Are your headers block hugger type? I'll bet you it will all fit if your headers are block huggers type.
  3. Nice spin, nice job keeping the rubber down.
  4. It's in my basement....minus the AC, sound system, leather, moon roof, cup holders and a 1000 lbs. and any other creature comfort you can imagine. A Z will never be a P car and that ain't a cut on the Z. THe porsche is just an amazing feat of engineering.
  5. Here is your answer. Even in your neck of the woods. Great products and service. http://www.datsunzparts.com/
  6. This is what happend to mine. I've taken apart a set up like yours and I don't think they can fail like mine did. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=124653
  7. I've bought two Z cars that were rust free Z cars from California. One was bought from a fellow I had done some business with ( I asked him to locate a nice shell for me) and another was from a member here. I had them shipped to NC and still came out way ahead. It would have cost more in repair work than it cost to have them shipped. Take your time and you will find a nice one.
  8. I've done an lt1 and an ls 1 car and have used -20 fittings on both.
  9. I was going to post a similar pic later. I've had stock mirrors on both sides of the car so I know it works.
  10. You can use the mirror on either side. Pull one off a car and try it on the other side. The Mirror head will swivel to allow mounting on either side.
  11. Phil took that well. Maybe he'll stick around.
  12. For a quick fix, clean and rough up both surfaces and use jb weld. Let it set for a day or so and you'll be good to go. I've got a gas tank repaired for going on 13 years with jb weld. Still does not leak Are you sure both pieces are aluminum? If so, of course th TIG would be the best repair but most of the press in fittings I've seen like that are steel pressed into the aluminum. GM does there water pumps this way. good luck
  13. I doubt it is the calipers, sounds master related, make sure the push rod for the master is returning after being depressed. Sounds like something is keeping pressure from the master cylinder from releasing and it aint an air bubble. Check the linkage from the pedal to the pushrod and then thru the booster and to the master cylinder. Something is binding in there I bet.
  14. Try this http://forums.hybridz.org/search.php and this http://www.weightwatchers.com/plan/apr/index.aspx?
  15. Check the free play on the brake pedal. The pedal should travel a slight bit before it starts to push in the rod that actuates the master cyclinder. could also be pistons stuck in the caliper bores. good luck.
  16. I still disagree. I think we will just have to wait on more info from Sideways.
  17. This was not meant to sound like I was attacking you. Just disagreeing. If I'm wrong, please explain, I would like to learn something today.
  18. Air in the system will not cause the brakes to drag, moisture possibly if the pistons or bores in the calipers are rusted and pitted. Need more info. Can you hear it or will the wheels not turn when the car is jacked off the ground. Has anywork been done to the car lately? Can you smell pad burning when you drive? Will the e brake grab and release?
