  1. I would try this. It allows for dual masters and not much fab work. My current project has dual masters but John was not offering this product at the time I put mine together. I wish this had been available. http://www.betamotorsports.com/products/index.html
  2. I drive a honda. It's got 200k plus on it, still runs great and gets 27 mpg. I'm bragging about my honda on THE Z forum Oh yeah, It's not my mom's.
  3. Wheel cyclinder is backwards. The part with the gear should face the rear.
  4. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Looks great!
  5. That is also what I'm thinking of. LSX in a G35 would be a great DD
  6. Hinson super cars was mentioned on the ls1 site. Hinson's site says it will have info on this swap next week. If they do a kit for the lsx swap, it may be time to sell the lt-1 240Z.
  7. You would have missed. He's had a year to duck.
  8. PM drsideways. He runs a high compression NA L6 but I don't think is 14 to 1
  9. I've had the Line-X in my last two trucks. Current truck an 02 chevy. It gets used to haul stuff regularly. The liner has held up very well.
  10. I would space the bar down and then look at the end links. You may not need to touch the end links for it all to work. An inch thick retangle of aluminum between the bar and the unibody at the bushing is how I would do it.
  11. Mine is very close. If it hits, I plan to make spacers that go between the bar and the unibody to space the bar down a bit.
  12. I use small black zip ties. Also found this stuff on MCmaster Car that was about 12 bucks for a roll. It streches and sticks to inself pretty well. Looks like thick electrical tape. If you find anything better, I would like to know also.
  13. It's a beast! Love driving on the beach!
  14. Thanks for the replys. I'm near Charlotte.
  15. Just sent you a pm. THanks John
  16. Thanks for the response guys. I'll take anything you guys have. Let me know what I owe you.
  17. Anybody have an extra set? I seem to have misplaced mine. I must be getting old! Thanks for helping out an old, forgetful fart.
  18. Flying out tommorow. Hopfully TSA will not find where I hide my 14mm wrench.
  19. Are the halfshafts available and how much? Shipping to 28075 Thanks
  20. I don't mind tuning,(I have a guy that does it well) I don't mind the installation. I can do that well. I just really don't feel the need to learn all the ins and outs that are necessary to get this to run. I really respect and admire the guys that are able to put this system on an engine and tune it. Maybe if I were younger.........................
  21. Thanks for the link. BTW all this was with a brand new optispark. What I meant by kit was UPS delivers it, I put it on the car and the car runs. I don't want to modify, hammer, cut, beat, reduce, enlarge, streach, shrink, paint, epoxy, buy another one do it again and then get it to run. I've been doing the hybrid thing way too long.
  22. I've got the delteq on my car now so I can address some of those points. It still uses the stock PCM and optispark. As Bart says, it does remove the high voltage from the optispark. I have been less than impressed with the system. THe car ran better before I did the delteq system. I'll be going back to stock stuff when time permits. The bracket for the coils is a joke. For the cost of the system, I should not have to modify it to make the coils stay on the bracket. The wiring is very simple with high quality connectors. The install is easy with good instructions and the system looks very nice once installed. I'd probably give the megasquirt a try if a kit were available. BTW my engine is a 93 lt-1 so no mass air to deal with.
  23. Jay, On those rear axels, the one that pulled apart in the pic, If I remember correctly when I assembled mine, once assembled the tripod will not pull thru the housing like that. The housing is tapered to prevent this from happening. To assemble the axels I had to place the housing over the shaft, then put the tripod on the axel (the other end was alteady assembled). Check and make sure the housing is not deformed before you have new shafts made. What lengths are you shafts? I just had two made. They were around 14 inches long. Don't ahve the exact measurements with me. Sweet car! Mark
