Does anybody know of anyone selling any motorcycles in virginia for relitively cheap prices? The Z is just frustrating me somewht, and at the moment, its not TOO reliable, besides, its in the shop......plus, i like the sound of 40-50+ mpg. Prefferably a sport bike, doesn't really matter on the age of the bike, im just not looking for the Harley type look.

alright, here is the story, im gonna need.....(this is EXACTLY wht the guy said)-a Strut assembly, strut mount, strut bolts, the metal brake line, the rubber brake hose.....all for the right front wheel. The mechanic said that the Spindle was built into the strut assembly, is this true? basicly i need a spindle, strut, break line, and everything to bolt those up.

0-60 in 21 seconds, sounds.........reasonable and it tops out at 78mpg, wht do u think the mileage is? imagine if u rebuilt the engine and did turbo it, u'd have a light car, with little power, but u will pass several gas stations b4 u even consider stopping for gas Where would i find one of these cars? I don't see any on ebay

Well, it basicly started as a crappy day, it got REALLY good rite b4 the problem. Well, i was driving home, and i needed to turn around, so i went into my school parking lot, and turned around, and was on my way out of the lot, when the ZX hydroplaned(DAMNIT), it hit a few curbs and then finnally stopped, i expected the WORST, i looked at it, and it was perfectly fine. I decided to forget about going to pickup the paycheck, and just headed home. About 100 feet down the road, the car started to really mess up, Think of it like this, u know the feeling when u have one of those high lift cams in a V8, well it was a combination of a VERY BAD IDLE mixed with swerving, thats exactly wht it felt like, so i tried to pull over, and i got into the turning lane, and it completely stopped, i got out of my car, my fender had popped off and my strut completly snapped, my brake line shredded, it sucked bigtime. My next question is, does anybody have a front right suspension for an 81 ZX (spindle, strut, ect....) or would it make more sence to get an upgraded suspension and get it lowered, i mean, its gonna b in the shop anyway, does anybody have a lowering kit there selling for a ZX 2+2??? PLZ HELP How do i upload images, i tried seting it up in the gallery, but it won't accept BMP

im not an expert, but i was always told that u were not supposed to smooth the intake completely, ur supposed to keep it a bit rough. I know this rule applys to heads, but im not sure about the intake manifold. If you make it really smooth-then the gas won't stay suspended in the air, giving u a weak air-fuel mixture. Like i said, im not an expert, and im not sure if this rule applys to the intake, but it does apply on the head.

AMSOIL is a great product, i haven't got a chance to use it in the Z(yet), but my best frends dad is a dealer. When we put the Amsoil 10W-30 Turbo oil in the supra(mk3) u could feel the power, and it revved alot smoother and idled better, too. At times, he'd miss shifts, after the Amsoil Tranny Fluid, u never miss a shift anymore, and again, u feel the power. Next on the list in the differential fluid. Im gonna start running amsoil in the ZX in a few weeks, its great stuff. AMSOIL all the way, forget the redline.

I still say its alot easier to change the bulb in the dark. Was this an incondesent (sp?) bulb, or a regular one? that can me a difference in how long it takes.

Its not that it doesn't work, it does, but once it hits a 1/4 tank, it shifts over to the secondary gauge, is that normal?
