i'll soon redo my tailight panel, a little diffrent then yours. First off, im gonna do the skylne tailights, haven't decided on wich ones yet, or possibly ferrari. And im gonna make the panel out of metal.

well, my car isn't on all four wheels at the moment, but it should b in another week or two(hopefully)-however my car isn't a first gen, its a 280zx, but i'd b more then happy to let u drive it, as long as i can drive the supra.....or atleast ride in it. PM me if ur interested.

hell mayb i should play the lotto, i am one in a million who have lost my wheel while driving.......didn't roll that far, but it came off in such a way that it wedged itself under the frame to keep my car at ride hight and not dip to the side-it technically was on all 4 wheels, but one of them wasn't attached to the car, it was just underneath it. Thats gotta b worth sum points! I guess im lucky, my frame could have hit the ground and bent the frame, but theres no frame damage at all.

i would love a civic like that, cuz it doesn't look ricey, and its got power, i can't stand civics, but that is the ****.

I've been searching around a bit, but haven't found too much, wht is the process of mounting the GTS Automatic-Tranny to the 280ZX Tranny Crossmember? Would i get the stock mounts from the 280ZX and the Skyline, and make my use those to design my own mount? How bout the ears? Would i mount the engine and tranny, then jack up the transmission till its at the right degree and then weld the ears in like that? Is all this ranting useless? Thanks in advance.

did u put the right coil on, or did u put it on right? I had a firebird coil in my car at one point, and it would get REALLY hot, and wouldn't run below 2000 RPMs once it heated up.

hmmmm, i too have a ford ranger.....well kinda, i have a Mazda B2600i that i drive, and i don't do anything to reckless, except for revving it to annoy the hell out of ppl.

would there b much banging on the tranny tunnel to get the GTS tranny in place.

how much massaging is needed to get the GTS automatic to fit in the stock tranny tunnel.

another thought, would the 200ZR tranny mounts-mount an automatic Skyline tranny to the 280ZX transmission. I found a RB25DET and GTS-T automatic tranny for 2,000. Would the mounts work, or wht would b involved in bolting up the Auto Skyline tranny to the 280ZX frame?

damn, looks like imma hafta get sum mounts made.......would i hafta mount the engine with the tranny attached, and then take measurements for the actual mounts. Will the kit from mckinnley hookup the 200R4 to the RB25?

thanks jamie, forgot to mention my setup. I was wondering, would the TH200R4 hookup to the RB motor, using the mounts from mckinnley motorsports? So i will have to use custom tranny mounts-i wouldn't b able to swing it by using the JTR tranny mounts?

Well, im gaining info little by little on the RB swap, and i feel confident that i'm gonna start the swap mid-late summer this year. I talked with Jamie for a bit the other day, and he talked me out of going with the Powerglide, he suggested a TH350. I was wondering, i found the kit to mate the RB motor(not sure on RB25 or RB26 yet) to a TH350, wht would i use to bolt it into the car-could i use the JTR tranny mounts from the SBC swap? or wht?

i agree with u 100% Tim, that is nuthing, i highly doubt that this setup made a Nova run an equivalent to a 10 second quarter(does that sound right)-hell, if i had an SBC, and 1400 dollars, i could make that kind of power, and i wouldn't have lost all that money building the engine, cuz obviously sum1 will buy a 421 RWHP motor for 1500
