  1. I prefer the all around adj, verb, noun, etc, F#$%, which is what I'd bet the owner and the dog were saying at the time.
  2. :lmao::lmao: 52 paces to be exact! Geez, would you at least get the story straight! Oryx have been here since the 60's or so, some general brought them over so he could shoot them and wouldn't you know it, they had sex!!! Now they are freaking everywhere here. If you all ever want to hunt them they have an off the range hunt and we can find them easy in one day!!! Check with the NM Game and fish website.
  3. What's worse is the eskimo indians eat raw whale blubber and call it muktuk!!!!! They were in line to feast is my guess.
  4. Last weekend was Bryce's (Hunt Jr) once in a lifetime oryx hunt on White Sands Missile range. Seeings how I used to work there we had little trouble bagging this fine 34 inch bull on the first day of a two day hunt. He should be smiling but I think it took me too long to take the picture. That and he was really tired from all the walking we did. We toured alittle visiting trinity site and the McDonald ranch house, saw alot of deer and alot of other hunters. The success rate wasn't very good 74 out of 105 hunters bagged. But it was fun and we got to see what the govt. is up to lately. The oryx is getting mounted and the meat is being professionally processed. It weighed 600lb dressed so it was more than I wanted to tackle.
  5. Finally the truth about doctors Fee's!!!! :lmao: Oh, the proper response to getting punched in the nose, is a swift kick in the nuts, followed by repeated blows to the morons face, making sure you rearrange everything. When he's rolling around on the ground, you modify his rib cage alittle with some foot massage. If he tries to get up, you practice your punting skills using his face as a football, especially since it's football season. When that's all done you tell him to have a nice day. "I don't want to fight" sorry, but it already started. IMO You never win, but it's nice to see them the next day knowing you own 'em.
  6. I'd imagine it'll be an l28. More of a copy of the original pinks car.
  7. Wouldn't be very fair to the 6. The "all out" pinks is 10K to the winner and 1K to 8 other cars if I read that correctly.
  8. I think racing for 2 grand would be doable IMO.
  9. Well, it's slanted, does that help? Looks like a 2jz but slanted. Guess that means it's from japan, cause everything is slanted there isn't it? He pieced the car together, it was a wrecked car, so who knows, I certainly don't.
  10. Connecting rods get resized all the time. It is necessary for proper bearing crush. Cylinder walls were probably tapered, not warped, from ring wear. From the looks of the bearings the crank journals had high spots in them and look to have had adequate oil. And since it was easy and inexpensive to do it should have been done.
  11. I seriously doubt that he has anything near as fast as the cars on this site!! But most folks talk smack too!!
  12. Ok, I'm taking a trip to California sometime in December to deliver the 260z and pick up a 240z. It is my understanding that the 260z will be built on the west coast as a 6cyl car. The 240z I will build and will be a v8 car. I'd bet money that the 240 will be faster than the 260.
  13. Considering Bushar motorsports builds Shepards shortblocks and he's making 1500rwhp and in the 7's I'd say that it's a pretty good motor. From what I've seen of the internals it's pretty stout. The oil pump sucks but those big # guys have gone dry sump. Stick with the 2.0 displacement, turn it 9500 rpm all day and you can make 900HP easily with the right turbo and components.
  14. Wow, sorry to hear about your dad, my condolences! I lost my dad suddenly in '02 and my wife in Jan '06. Details on your car man, details.
  15. The tuner, sean, was driving and Tony (aka the big man) was in the passenger seat holding the laptop. And that what I said too. Well that and find some skinny dude to drive it and it'd run 11.50's for sure.
  16. 1.8 60's for the slow times, 1.6 for the 11's. Well, could have been he was wrong, he said it was a 3JZ. But in any case, it hauled the mail.
  17. Well, Tony took the car to get tuned friday and yesterday (sunday) we met the guy Sean at the track and made some runs. Baseline 14psi boost 12.90@112, 32psi boost 11.70@126 It has alittle more but the plugs are about 2 ranges too hot and the fuel pump isn't keeping up. We changed injector duty cycle from 77% to 88% and had no change in AFR. That coupled with the spark plugs kept us from pluggin in another 5 degrees of timing and more fuel. But since the car weighs 3440 and there were two large sized guys in the car. Tony weighs 265 and the other guy is over 230 when you figure the trap speed that little DSM motor is making 593HP which is close to the limit of the gt35r turbo. So all is good in DSM land now! Oh, there was a sick supra with a 3jz engine laying down 900rwhp that had to turn the boost to 22 psi to lay down a 10.97@136 number! Too good not to watch.
  18. Well, almost, yours are welded. This one is just screwed onto some 1/2" square tubing that's welded to the cage so it's not nearly as nice as yours. That half dash in the pinks car is nice.
