  1. Well whatever it was in that jug it got the job done.
  2. Me and my friends made some wine in a 5 gallon jug in our college dorm. Not anywhere close to as intricate as you got, but it got the job done.
  3. That thing has been on CL for a week or so now. Looks like a hotwheel car
  4. What kind of power are you making with those mods right now? and how much more do you think you would gain with a slightly more agressive cam that can't be fixed with a few more PSI?
  5. You could just look at the "sign in if you own an s130" thread. To a lot of people their favorite s130 is their own, and they have some pretty good ones.
  6. What about the dizzy cap and rotor? my ZX was acting strange at around 5000rpm my old rotor was missing a piece , and the dizzy cap had copper buildup. Put the new rotor and cap on and took it to 6500rpm down the block. Also bought a new coil and wires(couldn't hurt to have them instead of the decade old crap).
  7. Crazyoctopus did that. build thread: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/86623-crazyoctopus-1972-240z-build-up-long-first-post/
  8. That looks like a light gunmetal color. Very clean.
  9. http://betamotorsports.com/products/products.php?cat=4
  10. Mine looks like that but I have brake ducts. Looks like that's the one you need.
  11. Just get a running car, replace and clean the engine up, strip the interior, get a higher ratio diff and do suspension/wheels and tires. It will feel much faster. It will also leave room for you to gather parts while having a car to drive around in. Any swap will have your car put in down time. Everything I listed can be done in a day, or weekend if you're meticulous, and they will all need to be done eventually.
  12. You can ask either company to find out where they will "cut" it, mark it and cut it yourself. Then send it to a local machine shop to have it blasted and cleaned (should be like $50 for blasting) and then all you really need to do is pay someone to weld it back on which shouldn't be much. You might save a couple hundred, but I would just go with one of the companies.
  13. You can't swap the rear rotor. They are different. As for the caliper I wouldn't know, but you will need to use it with the pads since they use different rear pads. They are not the same pads as the 79 Pads and rotors are different, I don't know if the calliper will swap. I'm betting it won't though.
  14. Yeah I was looking at the others, and you're right it does look funny with bright side markers and smoked front turn signals. I do like the look of the blacked out turn signals. I get where you were coming from to black out the side markers.
  15. The 255 doesn't come with a cheack valve. You need to buy one and mount it inline with the pump. I read on a porsche forum that that doesn't seem to lead to any problems, but with the pump running effecticly dry at startup I feel like it would lead to something down the road. This has me a little worried about installing mine on my ZX.
  16. I saw one like this with a 350z, nsx and some other cars. The 350z was slow, then went and got a nismo upgrade. And the nsx was spinning all over the place.
  17. For that amount of trouble, unless you get some decent discounts from that shop, I would just sell it and look for the msa 6-2 headers. They are supposed to fit. What size is are the collectors and the Y pipe?
  18. I thought that was a CRX with a body kit at first glance.
  19. That looks a little low, be careful when you drop your car(if you plan to) and did you check tire clearance? What happened to the SS oil lines man? Also in regards to your fan hitting the radiator, you're better off taking it off and just using 2 electric fans hooked up to either a switch or thermo switch. Are you coming down to the MSA show?
  20. If you have the power steering box I would be more concerned with that. Also make sure that the ports are the same, like don't put a set of round port headers onto a square port head. Not sure if you modified your engine or not but you might want to check the head stamp. I would get the stud kit since you might as well put in new studs and make it look nice while your removing the intake/exhaust. As for gasket, get one that matches to your head, not the header. Lastly I don't see a O2 sensor bung, if you're running stock ECU that might create a little bit of a problem.
  21. I'm just saying when I'm creeping out to make a turn with a long nose car I would rather have people see a bright reflection from my corner lights then some dimmed blurp. Corner lights are there for that reason. I think they would look good with a darker paint. The contrast from your "lighter" color paint makes it seem out of place. Could be just me though.
  22. Holy hell that looks bad. As everyone else stated it is more than anything in your technique. Get the attachment that z2go suggested( my local OSH/homedepot sells them for like $10). It will make a world of difference. When I painted my car with krylon, after the front end, it started getting hard for me to hold my finger down without cramping and my painting ended up looking like crap because I couldn't make full passes without my finger twitching/releasing resulting in splotchy areas. Had to sand it down and start over again. Also after you finish, you might consider wet sanding it with some really fine sandpaper. Looks like you used gloss and a few members have been able to wet sand out the "shine" and it looks amazing. Edit: Please don't take comments like these negatively. It all comes with practice. If I came off insulting I'm truly sorry.
