  1. Theres a member on here, don't know his screen name though, that drifts his S30. Hopefully he will see this and chime in. Heres a pic from a drift event this summer. I'm riding shotgun
  2. A little update... I have -Mounted my fuel pump -Modded my engine harness -Wired up the engine bay -Bunch of other little things I can't remember I still need to -Run fuel lines -Vacuum lines -Run coolant lines, tranny and radiator -All other wiring, relays, fuses etc. -Have my driveshaft shortened It's almost done Heres some pics, I tried to keep the engine bay as clean and wire free as possible. I'm pretty happy with the results. What do you think?
  3. Congrats. The car looks absolutely amazing, can't wait to see it running. A little off topic, but what intake and filter are you running? I know I've seen it on here somewhere but can't find it.
  4. Thanks, I really appreciate it. They look great.
  5. My brother has it on his silverado. Its pretty tough, we've hauled all kinds of things and there are only a few scrapes and tears in it, its been used really hard. Definitely tougher than the Speedliner I have in my Jeep. Alot of places offer a lifetime warranty on the lining so I would try and get it done at one of those if possible.
  6. I have a live action Wangan movie. Anyone know where you can upload a file online that is 670mb?
  7. They are always on ebay for about $500 shipped for the pair. Also if you just google them it'll bring up the main website.
  8. Yeah, that looks alot better than the other bedliner. How well does it hold up to heat exposure?
  9. Por-15 looks great I did the exact same thing with my engine bay, although i didn't topcoat or anything just prepped and sprayed it. Let us know how the bedliner turns out.
  10. Thanks for the compliments. Don't see why it's a waste to put the lt1 in my car... but, whatever. As far as the interior, you can brush por-15 on so i'm gonna see how that goes. If it doesn't turn out nice, I'm gonna spray the inside.
  11. First off, I have a thread in the members' projects forum but, i would like to hear peoples responses and opinions. So if you've read my thread in the project forum this is all old info. My eventual goals for this are 350whp and really good aero, or as good as you can get with an S30. Short term plans -Jegster 8-point weld in cage -FIA approved seats, I'm thinking Sparco Sprint 5's -Rota grid 16x8 +10 in bronze -Still deciding on suspension... -Carbon hood and black airdam Heres the progress so far... Car when I first got it Lt1 and 4L60e auto tranny Original engine and tranny getting pulled Engine bay getting torn down and sanded Interior mainly stripped After sanding and cleaning the engine bay, it got spayed with POR-15. If you don't know, por-15 is a really tough paint that takes hardly any prep. It neutralizes any rust on contact and prevents it from coming back. The finish isn't like regular paint. You can tell it's tough by looking at it and it is similar to black powder coating. If you decide to do this go buy a harbor freight gun as it will likely ruin your paint gun in one shoot. Heres some more pics... All components reinstalled into the engine bay, waiting for the engine to go in. And the engine is in Hope yall like it. And that is how it sits right now but, it should be getting completed sooner than later.
  12. Alot of suby owners use them and seem to like them.
  13. The engine is in!! Still needs -Fuel pump and lines -Wiring -Driveshaft shortened -Bracket for pulley system
  14. Got alot done today... I reinstalled all the brake lines and shaped them where needed, pedal assembly, steering column, all steering components, and i got the radiator installed/test fitted. Its coming together pretty fast
  15. Just wanted to say thanks. All your work is greatly appreciated.
  16. The paint is done curing. Right now I'm putting all the necessary things back into the engine compartment before the lt1 goes in. Hopefully the Lt1 harness will be modded within the week. Want to hear it run before the end of summer. Oh thought you all might like my curing booth. I really like how thePor-15 turned out. Its not for show cars but considering the little amount of prep that needs to be done and how tough it is, its good for project cars. Looks like black powdercoating.
  17. Got the engine bay sprayed with por-15 today, it turned out really nice. Now all i need to do is put the engine in.
  18. Well it has been way too long. But here is some progress that ive been making. I really want to hear it run within a month so thats my goal. Engine bay is pretty much stripped, except for the brake lines. Im going to start blasting tomoro and hope to have all of the minor surface rust taken care of by tomoro night. By the way this car is amazing, not a single piece of serious rust has been found anywhere, knocks on wood. Heres some pics. Interior is getting there.
  19. Hey man, not sure if this will help you at all but its a pretty decent site with a few links to parts sources. http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech1.html
