  3. Hey guys what is the oem brake line size for the 2402z? I am putting in a proportion valve and my car is not available to measure. Search button is returning a lot of trash.
  4. Well lost the Oil pump Friday. got it all torn down and the trans and all off. cant see any metal shavings or spun bearings. Time will tell. Tomei Pump on the way. (wtf there was my CCW classic wheels). 4" speed and tach, 2 -5/8 in the dash.
  5. Are you running an EMS? if so i would look at the wilson TB. I think raw brokerage sells them. The nissan TPS is a POS. I have been though 4 already and the wilson lets you use the ford/gm tps (dime a dozen and in stock everywhere). There is a company that makes just the weld flange, it might be greddy, I cant remember.
  6. Yea you are definatly going to need a lsd of some sort. I have a pretty much stock rb26 at 9psi with a r230 (300zx twin turbo) rear end and it breaks looks in anything below 4th gear. Luckly it tracks straight so its pretty fun. I want to say mine was like 23" and some change but that will be different that yours. Do it all now and save yourself money overall.
  7. Confirmed, oil pump gears are shattered. Lol the 2 things on this entire build that i didnt go all out on fail.... oil pump (this is N1 with external pickup) and my clutch. Ehh hope my bearings are ok.
  8. yea i have the r33 full face collar on my crank.
  9. Well got it mostly torn down, looks like I have to pull the motor though. No way in hell i can losen this oil pan to slip the pump out. Should have went with a LS8.

  11. Well I was playing with my two step settings on my ems and all the sudden my oil pressure drops to 0psi. I **** my pants and turned it off, changed the oil pressure sender, fired it up, still no pressure. Bought a crappy sunpro mechanical and still no pressure. I was seeing 70psi and idle and 100 with any sort of throttle. My pressure port is on my greddy sandwich though. Maybe something messed up there? Tomorrow i think i will losen my oil filter and crank it up. see what happens. I dont hear any noise coming from the oil pump area and i dont hear a rod knocking yet... Any clues? Brand new N1 oil pump with external pickup and a McKinney pan filled to 6 quarts. Ehhh this bullet is looking mighty tempting right now.
  12. Will do, they have a street plate and a race plate, I went for the street. Petal feel is suppposed to be less than or equal to stock. We will see. I'm not sure what I will end up doing with the turbos. maybe something like N1's or a small single. It will get sideways in 3rd just getting on the throttle clean. Need to get some good wheels and tires if i can ever pay off this clutch. Then we can go from there. There is no place to open it up where I live. 1 out of every 13 cars is a cop....
  13. Hey guys, 72 240z and i have looked at probably 5 diagrams and I don't see anything related to the blower motor diagrams. I am trying to find out where I pickup the power from. Currently mine is not on acc or ign, it's always has power, which cant be right.
  14. Well, since I'm not getting any love here anymore.... I ordered a Carbonetic Twin Disk clutch from raw brokerage, should be here hopefully next weekend (no stock on the pull style). Maybe then i do some full throttles.
  15. x2 there. I personally know what it takes to get there, well engine, chassis, drivetrain wise, I havent even got around to paint and interior yet (and wheels). I know it would be impossible if i was not single, so I have tried to make the best use of my time while I can.
  16. Careful in the rain with those filters like that. I thought about doing the exact same thing with mine. Are you going to run a rear sway bar? I have the same setup as you do.
  17. I dont have my neutral switch hooked up yet. Eventually I will use that on an alarm so i can start the car with it knowing its in neutral, which i usually do park it in neutral. The IAC is needed for idle control but that is on the intake manifold.

  19. Hell mine will brake loose just flooring it in 3rd on the stock turbos. Granted I dont have great tires but still. I am having map problems with mine after about 5300 my map just bounces from 7-9 psi but my boost gauge is steady 9psi. I ran a completely seperate shielded wire for the map and that didnt help and neither did a new 3.5 map. I am stumped. AEM thinks i should move it to a different location but i have an aftermarket manifold with all the taps on the rear. i dont know. grrr.
