  1. I know you said you verified it but it sounds like your a tooth off on the timing belt.
  2. damn, that sounds impressive. i want a ride if your ever around south carolina
  3. im jealous. i have so far to go still... Do you have closer pics of your gauges on your pillar? i was going to mount them like that too.
  4. I need inspiration and donations, lol.
  5. i did the exhaust in stainless 409 16gauge. i will post pics when its totally done, but i have to get my driveline vibrations done before i can final weld one part. Right now i have a piece of flexpipe connecting the exhaust to the downpipe.
  6. hmmm squeeky front left suspension...
  7. i would assume, i do have to say i like what i did over that though.
  8. can you post your timing tables?
  9. cant wait to see paint on it, the main reason i dont like some of the wides is they dont keep the lines... Good job
  10. does anyone have a diagram for the rear defrost circut, i have looked though all the 240z diagrams and damn if i do not see it on any of them.
  11. yea just wanted to confirm it was threaded inside the tie rod enough to have some strength and not have like 3 threads from falling off.
  12. i should have have said i have an alignment rack john, my mistake
  13. yea i did lock the steering, but i do recall when i was putting in my urethane steering bushing a few months ago (doing a build) my steering wheel came out and might not be in the right spline because i had the column unmounted. i didn't really measure from the rubber moreso the back of the adjustment bolt where you put the wrench.
  14. are you going to make carbon fiber flares? i have some but they are pretty flemsy.
  15. how long are the treads on the inner tie rod? after i finished my alignment the drivers side is out more than the passenger side... i forgot to measure them when i installed the new tie rods.
  16. Like this, but up in the hole (made bigger) vs. This eliminates two 90 degree bends into probably (1) 45 degree bend, if i don't like it later i can black it out and you really willnt see it much with my undercarriage.
  17. yup. it wasn't a huge pain in the ass, but none the less... they are twice as expensive and twice the pain in the ass, but they do bling... sad when my undercarriage looks better than the body does. haha, just wait..... still waiting on the mandrel bends to get here so i can start fabbing the exhaust. i have decided to use the muffler at an angle which will get rid of one 90 bend in the exhaust. i kinda like the look too. i also like it straight but i hate 90s in exhausts. we will see when its all said and done...
  18. i saw where a guy hinged his license plate like the old Lincolns. that might work for you.... also saw someone hinge their tail light, a bit more work but nothing big at this point...
  19. I threw her on the alignment rack last night, boy that was fun....not. Wish i would have got the T3 front LCA rather than the AZC ones, but when i bought them the T3 were not in production (bought them for my 280z) I set it up via JohnC's recommendations in the FAQ for a street car. Does anyone know the length of the threads of the inner tie rods? this one looks a bit on the long side.
  20. i would also recommend using teflon lines, Its expensive (the hose ends) but the fuel vapor will not permeate though that style hose.
