OK, I will look up your wiring diagram and draw up some sketches. I am sure you have more experience with the actual software side so I will leave that up to you. I am kind of busy so may take may a few days but should have some general schematics fairly soon.

WOW, I do not believe it at all. JK. On my whole V* swap everything went so well, no problems at all. EXCEPT that spindle pin. That was just such a pain in the butt. I looked at the pic in the manual that showed some hulk man just easily pulling it out with his hand and it made me nervous about how hard I was trying. Eventually I found someone that just suggested cutting at the gaps then smacking the pieces out. So that is how I did it. I really wish you got a video of you doing that, just to show off to everyone.

LOL rebekahsZ, I know. Just saying that I was planning to drop about $10k easy into my next engine alone. And even then I feel like this guy did much less and somehow pulled a faster time then I was expecting to get. But then again I am planning to go manual. There is no denying that an Auto will be faster on a drag track but I am insistent on going T-56 for my next build.

This thread is driving me crazy. 9 seconds on a LS with a cam? WOW. I know the trans is the reason but just wow. Here Was planning on a full built VQ9 with supercharger and was hoping for anywhere in the 10 seconds on my next Z. I guess i just need an LS and some spray. I just watched about 10 youtube videos of 500+ Rb swaps not getting near this mark.

I didn't reroute my lines. I had a '76 and the lines were in a position that was fine for a V8 swap.

Rockauto.com is a decent place to check. That is where I was going to shop for mine. I am not sure of fitment since I never got around to actually ordering it.

I am close to you and have a complete Lt1/4L60E installed in my car. You are welcome to come check it out and scavenge anything you want or need. I am pulling it all to go LQ route. I have brand new driveshaft, JTR headers, the mounting kit, speedo cable, exhaust, EVERYTHING. just let me know.

I have a B&M hammer shifter that is already set up for chevy autos. Also the spare parts would come with as well in case you would want them.

It's been done. But, I was kind of joking. Although it would be a hell of a lot easier if you were to pick up the complete swap that has already been in and bolted up.

I can sell you mine. It is a '76 280Z. It has a '94 LT1/4L60E in it. It is almost finished. The engine is in, runs great. I need to install the brake booster and I have it brand new waiting to go on. reinforced frame rails. Minimal rust on the body. Some body work does need done but it is not that much at all. The ECU has already been reprogrammed. I could drive it around DD if I wanted to, once i replace the brake booster. I am looking to change what I am doing is the only reason I am selling. Initially I just wanted to change to an LS but now planning on buy another forum members car. But the thing is, I am willing to sell it all off for a great price, well under what your budget is. Also I am in Maryland if you would like to come check it out. I will be putting my for sale post up tomorrow for the complete car. I already have a post up about the drivetrain. If you are serious then we need to talk. I have a great car that works fine and will come out way under your budget. I know you are looking for a manual but with the money you would save you can easily install a manual in after.
