  1. EDIT: I was wrong, it didn't sell...... hmmm..... Mario
  2. I don't think you shouldn't put the soft limiter, build the shift light instead. I dunno about the rest of the settings though, I'm waiting for a response on this too. Mario
  3. This person did what you are talking about: http://www.zcar.com/month/2002/12/ I've always wondered that since its just a cover, to just take it out, cut/flatten the little extrusions, and put a layer of fiberglass to make it smooth. Most of the ZXs from Japan that I have seen have the airdam with the openings right before the hood, so maybe you can find the cover for cheap since they seem to be getting rid of them. Mario
  4. Just found out my roommate-to-be for college is from there. What are the odds? Good luck, hope you pass. Mario
  5. Mine was free and it still works. Try eBay or LOCALLY OWNED computer shops. They might have something old and cheap there. Sometimes the local university surplus shop has some. You'll find millions on eBay, thats for sure. Heat kills them though, don't leave them in the car. Just get pretty much anything with a serial port, since you're not looking to do much with it. Mario
  6. Something might be grounded causing a fault with the serial communications and other workings of MS. You probably have to check the sensors and wires individually since it checks out on the stim. Did you make your own harness? Check grommets or places where the wires might have gotten pinched or stretched. Good luck, Mario
  7. Hmm, really old divx codec, didn't even have it installed anymore. I might have done something wrong, cuz its upside down on mine...... That Z looks so nice, thanks for the teaser. Mario
  8. Just found out my site was taken offline, lemme fix that and I'll send you the link. Mario
  9. DivX! DivX! DivX! DivX! DivX! you know you want too...... Mario
  10. Cleaning out the metal fillings from my manual tranny, the housing had to come apart. In doing so, the shift forks were missaligned and it was stuck in gear. Of course I didn't check that until it was in the car installed, with the driveshaft and everything put back together. Ended up having to disassemble it again, but I did that while under the car (left the fron of it connected to the engine). It was a learning experience, thats for sure. Mario
  11. Maybe since you start from low rpms, the turbo spools smoothly, then the power is smoothly. When you punch it at those high rpms, the turbo spools almost instantly giving you the sensation of a sudden surge of power. Just my $0.02 Mario
  12. I'd like to know as well. If not, does anyone know if you can find a subtitles file for them? Or is someone willing to translate them? Mario
  13. I think there are better swaps for the end result. Some people have swapped in the R34(IIRC) AWD drivetrain though. Now that sounds like fun. Mario
  14. I've seen it done on TV before. I think its pricey though, and you have to wash it carefully after you get it to make sure there isn't any acid residue left. Mario
  15. If I can get the tape(s), I also have a video input card on my computer and could produce DVDs. Mario
  16. There is someone on eBay that sells eXedy clutches. I think someone said they were good. You just have to ask for the 225mm version if that is the one you are running, and I think the price was the same for both. (The auction is for the 240mm version) Mario
  17. Where did you measure the boost at? If it was after the IC piping, it must've been pumping out a lot more! Neat stuff, Mario
  18. I am almost 100% sure they are. Mario
  19. Are you using a WBO2 setup? If not, then don't look at those numbers, as they are way off. Mine likes it rich too, and it measures differently depending how I have ran the car or how warmed-up it is. Mario
  20. I like both (oh no blasphemy!!!), but that guy who made that comment is one of the noobs that IMHO, doesn't deserve a Z. Mario
  21. I found this a while ago, didn't think it was anything special since my house is a blue blob (ultra low resolution). Now for the cool part, go to somewhere like downtown Chicago (Michigan Avenue), the click on buildings and tilt the view. It will render the buildings in 3D and you can do a fly through of the area. Mario
  22. What's in this Ferrari? V8? V10? V12? What a sad sight. Mario
  23. That looks like a scam. The english gets worse and worse, ie look at the last comment added. Mario
  24. 79-80 I think had it on the passenger side, maybe even the 81 NA, not the Turbo I think. 82-83s NAs and Turbos had it on the driver's side. Anyways, isn't this post dead? Mario
  25. There is code that does this, such as MSnS-Extra and MS Dual Table. I think you hard wire a switch and just push it to switch tables. Mario
