Thought I would share this with you guys and gals.

I have watched this video about half a dozen times and I am hooked. I have never seen a speedometer needle move faster than a tach needle ever before.

I would love to have this bike, but would probably be dead after a few hours of ownership.

Enjoy!

Nathan,

Take a real close look at about 60-70 on the outside scale. The inside scale goes into triple digits, so it is MPH on the outside and he was hitting 180. The acceleration from 140mph when he goes from 6 lbs to 17 lbs was unbelievable.

Wow.

Maybe my RB swaped Z can do that....

Uh yea. right.

When I was a kid in the 70'ties, I remember guys on KZ1000's they were gods, they were my heroes, they did that with only about 80 rearwheel hp.

Today I own a CBR929 rr with about 127 rwhp, hey, it's a nice bike it'll do what I want when I like it to. I have also testridden a Busa (mostly stock) nice bike easy to ride, very controllable and comfy.

A Busa weighs about 550# add a 200# rider and you have a 750# vehicle, stock they put out aroud 160 rwhp and makes for an impressive ride. But this one in the movie should put out around 350 to 400 rwhp and thats just sick, orbit is not an option, it just happens.

Ohh, near stock Busas will break chains when dragraced. Try dropping the hammer on a T.Busa at a cool 100 and have the chain break AUCH...

Enough rambling

I've got a KZ1300 in the garage right now. Six cylinders and 130 smoooooth horsepower on tap. Too bad the thing weighs around 700 lbs! I'm thinking of getting a personalized plate: FST PIG

My 98 ZX9R weighs in at a svelt 402 pounds and Runs the 1/4 in the 9s at well over 140... Previous owner would bounce the front wheel and do wheelies at over 100mph. I've personally weighted the gas tank and blown off the rear tire in a smokey burn out down the length of the front straight at Jefferson Circuit at Summit point at speeds well over 70mph... It is pulling well over 130HP and is SCARY fast to ride...and is MUCH slower than the newest crop of bad boy bikes. I've tapped 150 on it in 6th gear and had 3-4KRPMs of headroom left in her. The newer bikes like this Busa can hit well over 200MPH with minimal tweeks. Takes LOTS of disciplin NOT to go to Jail or the morgue!
