HaaJeHaa
Thanks, I'm looking forward to have her finished too! Not much left, but it takes time since it's my first shell-up car project and money and time is scarse because of collegetimes. It should be ready in 3-4 months. I'll take that shot when I get home from the holidays, but it's completely flush on top. The bottom sticks out of course because of the negative camber. I've had my hours calculating and measuring to get that to fit;) Edited January 1, 2012 by HaaJeHaa
seattlejester
Here's my 2 set ups. 14x7 Celica Supra rims How'd you manage to get the supras to fit in the front? I thought the hub bore was in the 60's for toyotas. Car looks great by the way!

starwin21
How did you end up with different lips on the front and the rear if your running the same wheel measurements front and back? Thanks for your time, the car looks great. Can't wait to get my 280Z back on the road summer 2012;) CCW Classic 16x9,5 et -10 all around, 3,5" lip front, 4" lip rear. 225/45-16 BFGoodrich KDW2 tires. -3 degrees camber front and -1,5 rear. That's the widest and lowest offset possible you can go with no pulling or flaring of fenders and not having clearance issues, visacardfitment going on;) Just rolled the lip, camberplates and coilovers. The rims are completely flush with the fender. Going to mount AZcar LCA's to adjust the toe properly.
HaaJeHaa
Because of too large calipers up front, so I had to run thicker centers;) If I wanted 4" front aswell I had to downgrade the brakes, and that's no alternative:P Edited January 12, 2012 by HaaJeHaa

srgunz
Nice looking wheel. Who makes it and what model is it? Those look like Revolution wheels. Popular in the 1970's. Not sure if they still make them if they are.

datsun_280z
15x8 -0 Enkei 92's Temporary while I wait for my rims to come in from Japan. (3 month wait!) Have your new rims arrived yet? What size tires are you running on the Enkei's? Any rubbing?
zero
Temporary wheels until the ones I really want are in stock. I needed something that would clear my wilwoods as I'm losing my shop soon. These are 16' Rotas with 205 tires on them that I got a great deal on from a friend of a friend. Once they are available, I will be getting 17x8.5 +4 Rb-R's with gold spokes. These look great for now though! [Edit] My pic was way too large! Edited February 28, 2012 by zero Images way to large. Please resize before posting.

Those are Revolution wheels out of the U.K. Beautiful wheels and yes they date from the 1970s, I had them make me a set for my 1967 Datsun Roadster back in 2007 and was told that they were ceasing production on this style. Here is my Roadster with them:

I don't know what size those are on your roadster but they are still for sale brand new in 13" up to 8J. I don't know if they have them in 14 or 15". http://www.tyresave.co.uk/revoroad.html I just ordered a set of 5 spoke 15x8J ET 0 These 5 spoke revolutions will replace my narrow 14" Libre wheels Edited February 28, 2012 by datsun_280z
datsun_280z
Sorry about the size, don't know how to resize It will probably be removed, so here is another picture of my 280z with the Libre wheels...

Fauxre
Been watching this thread for a long time now, just waiting for my project to get to the wheel stage. Running the Rota RB Stagger Package in Hyper Black. 17x9 -13mm front, 17x9.5 -19mm rear. The Velo Rossa body sits on a '74 260Z unibody and suspension with a SBC 350 and T-5 trans. I've seen a lot of these wheels in this thread. Some have the plastic center hub cover on the front... some don't. The dust cover protrudes too far for my center cap to seat and it seems that the OEM hub is too wide to allow the plastic cap to snap into the wheel even if it were long enough. Question: Has anyone who is using the original Z hubs found a way to make the Rota plastic center cap fit?
