No, all I know is that it's owned by Ahmad Khodkar.

A man in his 70's who lives in Ontario, from the information me and my friend gathered it was built by whiteheadperformance. It's a V6 out of a Buick Grand National, though the exhaust tone betrays it because it sounds a lot like a V8.

Somewhere on here somebody posed that it was a buick stage 2. Not just any buick V6!

It seems to go quite well but the car's performance is not all due to power, great mid corner speed and corner exits.

I believe I have been lapping with Amhad...and he aint 70. The car is full tube chasis and yes it runs a GN engine. Its real fast! He has been racing for years!

It was a crazy day at the Shannonville track.... a cold mid November day..the organizers let all cars onto the track at once....everything from stock Hondas to this GT2 car. It was nuts...A pack of Hondas were braking for a corner...I was still accelerating trying to beat them there and Amhad blew right through all of us like thunder. In retrospect it was a dangerous session but heck of a lot of fun :icon54:.

One Quarter Mile- One of the best videos out there I think, as far as music and video editing and all that.

jmortensen took another one of mine. I really love the rocks hitting the camera, the bug splat, and the over head view of the 180degree turn on the cliff.

On an August morning in 1978, French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a gyro-stabilized camera to the bumper of a Ferrari 275 GTB and had a professional Formula 1 racer, drive at through the heart of Paris. No streets were closed; Lelouch was unable to obtain a permit. The driver completed the course in about 9 minutes, reaching nearly 140 MPH in some stretches.

Upon showing the film in public for the first time, Lelouch was arrested. He has never revealed the identity of the driver.

race prep. RX-7 and Shelby Cobra R having fun on the track

I don't mean to be a jerk or anything, I'm just kinda anal about this; but shelby has never made a "cobra" mustang until the new 2007 model. The origonal GT500 cars were not "cobras" and the only "cobra" was the Shelby AC Cobra, which is not a mustang. SVT started the mustang cobra in 93' and used the name cobra for their mustangs throught their entire history. The new GT500 IS BUILT by SVT and has thier name all over it, hence why it's called a "shelby cobra". All shelby did was put his name on it.

Again, I don't mean to be an a$$ or anything, I just wasn't sure what to expect before clicking the vid, and wanted to clear it up. It's a 2000 Cobra R, which stock produces a conservative 385HP with a 5.4 liter iron block from the F150, and new 4 valve heads that would later be used in the Ford GT supercar.

That's pretty funny, because in the origonal "Gone in 60 seconds" they weren't able to obtain permits from the city, so they just did all the stunts without permits and raced out of places before cops showed up. To my knowledge none of them were arrested after the film's debut.

I am pretty sure this video was proven to be a fake, or rather that it wasn't actually a ferrari, and the speeds weren't that high. The video was sped up. Something about the shifts not matching actual speeds, and a couple other things. I believe the british show fifth gear did a special on it.

I suspect it's real too, although I'm bothered by the scenes where he turns off the main roads and is going through narrow streets. He is often running through the gears into 4th gear which at the top of the rev range has to be in the 75mph or greater range. I find it hard to imagine that is how fast he is traveling in those narrow streets.

Or maybe he was just especially brave that day - balls of steel ...
