Stivva
Got an update of my car today. It should be one colour again later this week. Doors had all the rust repaired in them correctly. I now have to get the offset on my front wheels changed and some wider tyres all round.
MidnightCafe
There's a reason the S30 is called the 'poor man's Jaguar'
Krinkov
There's a reason the S30 is called the 'poor man's Jaguar' Ya, Z's were called "The-Poor-Mans" a lot of different cars in the 70s, but really it was all a pretty flimsy excuse to make Jag, Porsche, Alfa, etc owners feel better about the fact that Zs were spanking their cars for a fraction of the price. Haha, old Jags. Have fun with those Lucas electronics "Rich-Man"! Edited October 2, 2014 by Krinkov
Leon
Am I the only one who thinks the Z looks way better than the Jaaaag?
ol doc gully
^ I really think it does too.
socorob
The series 1 jag convertible is a beautiful car. The hardtop looks out of proportion to me though. A really long low front then a short tall back. It just doesn't look right.

Krinkov
front is done and the rear will be done the next days I can tell you just installed that big muffler but its not going to last long there at all. The bottom of that muffler is clearly at least 6" below the crossmember.

Viva Datsun
Looks better. I love the Jaaaaaaaaaag but our breed wins. Also love the Pulp Fiction plate haha I've had that thought too.
Viva Datsun
Bout time I got my share in here too. It may very well be the least desirable 240 made. A 73 with an auto! It's my most desired car ever though as I've owned it for almost a month and haven't seen it in person yet. Once I get my hands on it, I'm gonna be fixing it up and probably using it as a guinea pig while I work on my welding engineering degree. See what I can make custom and what I can improve upon. The autos days are numbered and I'm gonna eventually build up the L28 it came with (Turbo engine, otherwise I'd swap it right in). I'm really hyped up about it but won't be able to touch it until at least thanksgiving! Edited October 13, 2014 by Viva Datsun
Stivva
Time to put it back together and start some adjustments in the suspension and tyres. White tyre writing is a must when it is all done.

jhm
Stivva, looking good! Those are some big flares; what brand are they? I like!
Stivva
@jhm the flares are the Marugen Shoukai deluxe versions of the works kit flares. The ducktail spoiler is also from this kit.
