  1. BTW, this race was against a Moostang Cobra with the supercharger. All of his buddies thought I was going to take a beating and were mocking my car. I ran more mph in the 1/8th than this guy did in the 1/4. I do have a video on VHS that I need to convert.
  2. I was in Detroit on Monday and spent some time with Tim and his family. I had an opportunity to ride in the car before the rain came and it is fast. First and second gear were useless once boost hit, but we were able to get a few good pulls in 3rd gear on the street. The car pulls very hard in 3rd so I don't think the numbers he posted are too far off. The setup is exceptionally clean and the detail in Tim's setup is apparent as everything has a place and purpose. However, at this point there is not too much more room for anything else. Thanks for you hospitality and the ride:)
  3. You can also try the non protruding plugs to see if they work better. I used to run them on my Z. BR7-ES
  4. I have a v-band discharge flange available for the 42R
  5. Street/strip so maintaining port velocity was critical to me. Not an all out race head.
  6. Digitization is done. He used my spare head to perfect the port, ported my real head and then digitized. He then ran my good head using the CNC program. He has done other RB heads since.
  7. RB26 CNC Porting is $2800.00 Clearancing for "big" cams is 189.00 Replace Guides $225.00 Intake Guides $75.00 Exhaust Guides $85.00 Intake Valves SS (1mm oversized) are $225.00 Exhaust Valves Inconel (1mm oversized) are $312.00 Ti Retainers are $355.00 Springs (dual & nitrided) are $365.00 Valve Seals $65.00 Camshafts (Tomei) $750.00 Shimless Buckets $698.00 Pistons (with thick-wall pins) are $779.00 Rings are $288.00 Carillo Rods (with Carr Bolts) are $1550.00
  8. I will get pricing from Endyne and post.
  9. I dealt with Kevin at Majestic Turbo for quite some time. He is a very good guy and used to have the ability to bore the stock ZXT turbine housing. I only deal in new turbo's and do not bore stock housings.
  10. The pics are on Endyne's website and they now offer a CNC package for the RB26DET heads. It flows ~300cfm intake and ~290cfm exhaust @0.400". http://www.theoldone.com/components/cylinderheads/skyline/
  11. I remember the conversation. James: Hey Tim, do you want a GT42R? It will allow you to make more power and the spool should be the same. Tim: OK:) When we discussed this turbo we speculated it making 575-600hp with the turbo swap. I guess that number is out the window!
  12. That is because I gave you the warped one! What do you expect for half price?
  13. Congratulations Garrett! I believe TimZ hit over 500hp@wheels. My dyno graph is below. I did not have my computer with me when this run was made so I was not able to lean it out and make another pass. However, with this tune the car went 10.6@134 (19psi and 125shot of nitrous). Dyno graph is 28psi and no nitrous
  14. Matt, Thanks for the "band aid" clarification.
  15. Matt, I purchased the NISMO pump per your recommendation(from what I remember) for my street/strip application. Should I sell the pump and go with an HKS? I certainly do not want my pump to fail.
  16. Got a call last night, it appears Garrett broke the 400hp mark making 418hp/407ft-lbs@wheels with 23psi.
  17. 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution IX
  18. This is the design that I am building mine to.
