  1. Go for it and flip it or hang on to it and restore it, they're only going to go up in value and they will always be worth more than an S30 regardless of condition.
  2. I've only seen Extrudabody ITBs on a Z, don't know much about ITBs in general and am not that interested in them for my car. Just saw on the Carcast episode with Adam Carolla and the Singer 911 that Jenvey ITBs were used on that car which is an insanely nice build. it probably doesn't hurt the main individual at Singer is presumably form the UK.
  3. There was a guy in Pensacola who used to sell EFI throttle bodies that looked really nice. Not cheap but a nice compromise between EFI and the looks of triples.
  4. Those things are built like urban tanks, great find.
  5. Where is this body shop that towns are 100 miles apart on a 300 mile trip, just curious?
  6. I just got a set of triples from Todd at WolfCreek, he told me to get the Lokar throttle cable setup which you can find on Amazon.
  7. Washed it, it started on the second try and took my 8 yr old daughter for a spin, I've been out of the country for the past two months and it was really good to be back behind the wheel again.
  8. Z Nationals may be a better bet in a week and a half.
  9. If you go to the Import Atlanta Facebook page, they posted some... https://www.facebook.com/pages/ImportAtlanta/265144536889549?id=265144536889549&sk=photos_stream
  10. It's one way to keep the exhaust out of the cabin.
  11. I'll be there. may or may not run but I will be there. If you're interested in doing dinner the night before let me know, I may be able to engineer two kitchen passes, I live 40 minutes away from the track and 30 from Byron.
  12. Saying prayers for Ross and the family.
  13. Sorry that took awhile, I paid $3300 for it in 1986 which is to say, I overpaid for it. it had Zenith carbs which means someone hated themselves more than they hated the flattops because the Zeniths were no improvement. the dealership was off of Wells road or Kingsley, can't remember which but they had the 260 and two 280 2+2s. If I had it all to do over again I would have looked harder for a 240 but hindsight is always 20/20. I lived off of Cherry St in Riverside a couple of blocks from Lee high school and they finished the Landing when I was there. Jax is a nice town, the beach, the river, alot of fun.
  14. I bought my first Z in Orange Park, a 260Z at Sunrise Nissan. It was a horrible deal but I didn't know then what I know now. Worked at the airport while I got my Associates at FCCJ, great memories, Jax is a nice place.
  15. You should bring it up to AMS for Import Alliance this weekend, the Mitty next weekend or ZDayZ next month, it looks and sounds great.
  16. The 240 was awesome, the 370 gets points for having AC.
  17. I got mine at NAPA, put it together myself.
  18. I live a half an hour away and may turnout for it.
  19. I broke down and got a Ron Tyler diff mount which helped some.
  20. It will bring what the market will bear. Look at what else is being sold on EBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-datsun-240-z-family-owned-since-new-/321090094408?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4ac2760548#ht_500wt_1182
  21. Greg Ira at Revtec racing might be able to. http://www.revtec1.com/
