  1. Fusable links? Do you have a big stereo in your car? I was idleing my car in winter and had some christmas music cranked and melted my fuseable links as well as the whole container that houses them. Cut all the wires and wire nutted them all together. Yes that is stupid gotta get that replaced.
  2. I did not even think about di-electic grease. Maby when I die and get some time to work on my car, that will be a must have! Still hopeing their is some kind of "garage town" in heaven;).
  3. Thats what mine dose tooo! Came out with a force! Happens at the worst time as well. I bent the holders in a little but now its almost too stiff! PS some times it lights, some time not. Looking forward to seeing the results of the cathodes on your Z;)
  4. I'll admit that its neater than just plain lights.
  5. Buy a zx, they have lights on the lower panel under the glove box and steering wheel! heehee. P.S. also in the key lock on the doors, ingnition, inside trunk light and two overhead interior lights:). I even believe on in the glove box as well!
  6. Delorean: What is Lucus's home address, I want to pay him a little visit! Z: Found a rust free Z!.........Need a good souce for every body part!
  7. Way wicked! Cant wait to see the numbers on that one of a kind!!
  8. WOW! Maby they should have another line like honda (acura) in order to ditch the name hyundi. That is a tough pill for me to swallow.
  9. No, you being a member here for 7 plus years, you might not be satified with any other forums?!
  10. Looks great burnout, kinda reminds me of a white big phil Z. Maby the good twin?!
  11. Man, with that truck,,, are these not closed circuits? If not, these cars are weapons with those drivers!!
  12. Yea I see how I phased that sorry,,,,,there are many good additives besides slick 50 it is the only one that gave me the best results of the limited ones I've triied. Jmortensen, I guess I need to read up on synchros more or will you enlighten me a bit? I will say this, that additive completey solved both ZX's second gear and one honda! (not saying other additives won't)
  13. It is one of the frist suspended silcone engine treatments. I put in highest quality gear lube and one quart of slick 50 to top off. It was the engine treatment not the tranny stuff. Anyhow after I did this 2nd never missed a beat and even in very cold wheather I could shift the car w/o haveing to use both hands when frist started! This was a 82zx, modifed engine with a 150,000 miles and I was younger and gave it hell all the time, never a prob. I saw gas milage and acceration inprovements as well as top end. Iam not saying that is a miracle and if anyone trys it I would like to read there feedback. Since I frist put it in my 86si hatch transaxle with same results, Ive put it in every car I've owned with the same results. On my most recent car, however, it has been energy release, not as impressed. I cant speak for everyone and Ive tried even redline, but I stand by the results in my own experince. Btw you could pick it up at any auto parts store, unless their out of busness. Durealube was great but I heard years ago it contained colrine and ate seals. I recomend at least a quart, due to the slight thinning of the gear oil. My theroy is the syncs are able to catch up faster due to lessening of friction. It is a cheap easy fix if it works for you.
  14. Edis wheels and sensors? Also dont pull a wheelie! heehe.
  15. Man i've got many, so here is one. 68vw bug, throttle line broke so I had my friend drive and i sat, stood on the rear bumber giving it throttle going to spalding on the back roads. Half way there a fellow washing his car saw us at a corner and offered to help. We riged up some rope and I was able to control the throttle by standing up though the sun roof pulling on the rope! Bum help me once going through L.A. with throttle and ended up giving him a ride for 500 miles to sacramental, ugh. And so much more, YEA!
  16. That pic is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! Car looks great in that shot! Course some of the guys are probly thinking....."that is why they are all rusted out". Seems like the tires are getting you around fair enough. That is fairly deep snow. Have fun and Be safe!
  17. You gotta love being a guy!! Id problay have a tear running down my cheak!!
  18. Hey globe, you find any empty parking lots??!! BTW, #$%^&^$##%%^^&&&%%ing snow plows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep my sidewalks and driveway clean and I live on a WIDE 2 lane road and they plow (2 a brest) all that snow on to my sidewalks and there are schools in my area!! Ended up breaking a part on my huge snow blower!!
  19. Ummm, bad things happen in three's. What number are you on?! I'am suprised knowing that you can not control all aspects of your enviroment, that you would want a bike. I know lots of people that have survived car accidents and lots that have died from motocycles. Sorry to be a poop, believe it or not I'am not really into safty frist, but phyics don't lie. Part of the fun is the risk,,,,, i guess.
