  2. I've used something like that to rebuild my 1912 light fixure. I used it becuse of it's high temp rateing. Seems to held up for 6yrs plus. Mine came in a yellow and red can?

  9. Yes! The roll up is different, and form what I have read, the turbo cam will be eaten alive. The flow numbers are not all that different. Unless you are tying to squezze ever last drop.
  10. I've never read that the blocks, rods and crank were any different. Except for possible knock sensor and oil cooler adapter and a sensor that is located in a different postion. Anyhow, the heads can be aurgued abit. Braap is the best at this information. Form what I remembered the p79 flows pretty good due the exught transition through those liners, however, what if a liner lets go!??? The p90 fairly well thought the square port desing, no liners. Conpression is not that high on a na. something like 8 to 1? or 8.5? Not that high. I'm not the end all for sure, though I have to support Gollams statments, esp conserning quench.

  12. My guess 1 tps is out of alingment, two contacts making contact at once, briefly. 2 flat spot in afm, clean well.

  14. Clean connections at battery. Don't say they look fine. Once cleaned fasten tightly. This is a classic systom, might be something else, but I dought it.

  18. If you are going to stay with stock, finding a p79 lifters and cam should be quite easy and cheap. Search timesert and watch big phils viedo.
  19. Having the skills to build something is kinda the hard part. Playing around with something to max hp numbers is just plane fun! So now you have all kinds of fascinating ideas that can be put to use across the board and more importantly the ability to execute!!! Before extream education and computers people guessed alot, in there head it seemed right. Only proof was excution. I believe, hope, you will find it surpriseing. Etheir way, your ablity to do something has made you a clear champ!! You still suck though,,,,,,,,,,,
  20. Before going to the crusher, transplant a 4 banger in there. Tell them it gave up the ghost and quite running. Be sure to be waring a globle warming tee shirt, and pick a cold day;)
  21. Not so fast. My Ice dams were getting BIG. You can see leaks forming futher back. Got really worried about water in rooms if this contiued,,,,, so took my latter, crawel up my roof, (after a swig of beer) and shoveled my domers off. 34in of snow, my back friggin aches. Upper roof 4in high 8in deep. Lower roof 6 plus in high about foot back,, yikes!
