  1. Poss. vac. leak . Check intake/exhaust gasket . Use carb spray to find leak .
  2. Yeah . And they do add up fast . What's your horsepower goal ?
  3. I posted a thread on how to mod OE temp ( if you are using fact. gauge ) and install it in the right cylinder head . You can get an oil press. sender adapter from Autometer or Speedway .
  4. Hurry it up and get it done . My ZX is waiting . LOL .
  5. I will be doing my back half on my ZX soon , before the turbo 6.0 build . Going to use Ford 8.8 and 4-link setup . Too many projects have to be done first before I can start the journey . LOL .
  6. Just looked up bleeding procedure ( Mitchell On Demand ) . It's somewhat self bleeding system but requires some strange steps , I have never seen before .
  7. Seems like most people are adding turbos . . LS + turbo(s) = fast Z . .
  8. Thought T5 uses a different setup , different part number at the parts store for clutch and flywheel .
  9. Don't forget your clutch assembly and flywheel .
  10. Both of mine are mounted at the spare tire location , didn't take any pic . I'm using Optima batteries . Wouldn't rec. regular bat. ( acid ) in the car , I've seen a few exploded , what a mess . If you look at online catalogs like Summit Racing and Speedway , I think there's a note about triple-pass . I was going to get one for my ZX , upgrade for 6.0 turbo , ended up bought a double-pass instead ( after I read the warning ) .
  11. I sold my T5 about 4 months ago . I'm using 400 amp. CB on both of mine . 150 amp. is close , most starters exceed that . Triple-pass rad. might be a little too much for OE water pump . Read somewhere that triple-pass requires high volume water pump .
  12. Where are you placing your battery , hatch area ? And where does the starter get power from ?
  13. The car is going to be awesome once it's done . . Are you taking orders or making parts upon request ?
  14. Sounds like you have an idle control problem . Check IAC valve/motor , passages , and throttlebody . Make sure they're clean . Good luck .
