  1. Pardon me? Air in the system won't make the wheels drag? What have you been smoking and why aren't you sharing? If you get enough air in the system you could end up with a bubble in the proportioning valve or the master cylinder that could cause the pressure to not return properly giving you that drag. Moisture can do the same thing even if there's nothing wrong with pistons or piston bores. I've seen it enough times to know.
  2. Flush the system and bleed it really good. Sounds like you've either got moisture or air in the lines really bad. What car is this on and are there any mods?
  3. Sounds like you're either too rich or too lean. Pull the plugs and check the color. If you need help reading them post pics. We'll need more information to help you out.
  4. Well that's set right. Your RPM readings seem really high. It's like it's either 2k or 0. Even the lower ones that could be cranking RPMs are too high for cranking. Something is wrong in your ignition input settings. EDIT: AHHHH!! Just checked your .msq you posted. You're using -66 BTDC, I.E. 66 ATDC. You Trigger Offset numbers should always be positive, unless you're running a wasted spark setup, in which case it should be around -10.
  5. This looks quite familiar...What is your skip pulses set at?
  6. That is incredible. I've never seen a setup so original. One plus side I can see to the draw through is by the time the fuel gets into the cylinders it well atomized.
  7. They didn't look bad before, but I definetely like the black.
  8. Not bad, looks like ti should turn out nice.
  9. Wow, that's awesome. I'm thinking about doing this to my hood. The factory paint on my car is still decent on everything except the hood. I have the automotive primer and paint to do it, but I'd rather save that for when I paint my 77.
  10. If you use the simple green then you would have to rinse it with water to get ti off. The gas will just evaporate. If you do go the simple green and rinse route though, take either an air compressor or canned air to it after to get the water out of all the little spaces.
  11. tub of gasoline and a nail brush works really good to get the heavy stuff. If you want a true shine you'll have to get into polishing and that's a PITA.
  12. Yeah I saw all your groups, but I didn't see one that was Z Car specific. Snuk sent me one that was, but I searched a good part of the morning and got null. But, I guess now there's at least two that I know of.
  13. I'm surprised no one has created a group on MySpace for Z cars. Well, here it is. http://groups.myspace.com/ZCarHaven
  14. So does that cam sound too small now or would it bee good for a street cam? I'm thinking the lift is a bit low. I asked him if he could find something around .500" lift with around a 250 duration.
  15. Welcome to Hybridz! As is with most of the stuff on here, that exhaust was probably completely custom.
  16. Really hazy...Wet sand the hell out of that thing!
  17. "I am as I am, If I am ill I see. If you are ill I see, I am as you are." My best guess.
  18. Ummm, grounded one side? The injectors are ground fired so they should be getting 12V switched on one side (usually run from a relay) and ground side wired to the inj 1 and inj 2 wires in the harness.
  19. What version MS-II is it? If it's a V3 board you should be good as long as you installed the flyback circuits. If it's a V2.2 you'll need to add the flyback circuits. Aside from that I can't see why it would be blowing anything. Post your injector settings, code version, board version, etc...
  20. Awesome. I can't wait to get my car back together. I think most of my problems were due to the lobes wearing and wiping out. I was trying to use MAP Dot accel and it was all over the place. Makes sense, uneven vacuum pull from cylinder to cylinder would make it crazy.
  21. I'll have to look into those. One of the engines I have came out of a boat and someone said it should have better flowing heads and cam to rev up better for prop spin, think this is true?
  22. MegaTunix does support linux, but only for the MS-I. I'm a big Linux fan, but I run an MS-II and had some issues with MegaTune in WinE.
  23. I know if this was a chevy I'd be trying to find some 2.02 heads from a 327 vette, but I'm not real keen on Ford Performance. What's a good head to look for?
  24. You could always hookup EFI while you're at it and go MegaSquirt.
  25. Now that's driving. Why is it we don't do stuff like that in the US?
