Well it turns out I had more of an issue than I thought. As I stated earlier I started the car about once a week or so just to keep it fresh. But as fate would have it just as I was about to pull it into the garage for disassembly the damn thing wouldn't start. Maybe storing this Z28 under a tarp for several months wasn't such a good idea. At least that's the only reason I can figure what happened to the ignition. I ran the optispark test, it failed. I should have done more trouble shooting since it turns out the ignition was bad and believe it or not so was the coil wire! I think moisture from being under the tarp in the hot Georgia weather took it all out. I did not try putting the old MSD optispark back in after I found these two problems, figured since I bought the new optispark I might as well use it. Luckily I had another coil, wire and ignition module from a torn down '95 LET. But at least it start now and I can now pull the engine and tranny for my transplant
