  1. NO CLUE. I've heard wd-40 will remove it. But then I've heard wd-40 will do everything! This is exactly the same stuff used on all new cars so I'm sure a body shop can tell you.
  2. Cool, I was wondering what I was going to do with 175 sheets of this stuff. Send me an email Mike, don't want to post address and paypal accounts in a public forum. deja@dejavideo.net You'll get the bargain price for 5, LOL.
  3. You can get a R200 at 354. I'm no expert but I don't think you want to attempt fate with a R180.
  4. BTW cool video, but whats that white stuff all over the place? LOL!!!!!!
  5. Yeah, its double sided. Like I said, its what the auto industry uses to attache emblems and trim. No holes though the body anymore. Trust me this stuff is strong, your emblems will NOT fall off.
  6. Anyone wanting to stick emblems on their car knows about 3m 4611 waterproof tape. Its what the auto industry uses these days. I just happen to have a case of tape cut into 4 3/4" x 2" strips, 6 strips on an 8" x 11" sheet. I have 175 sheets but plan on getting more. Our company bought a ton of this stuff for a project that never happened and they are throwing it out. I will send anyone that wants some for shipping cost only, USPS would be about $4.05 a priority package. Add a little for handling we're looking at $6 for 10 sheets. Other quantities are negotiable.
  7. Coo. Love that reference to the Sunbeam Tiger, I had 2 of those in '65 and '66. An amazing sleeper back in the day. Sure wish I still had them, they are worth a fortune now.
  8. LOL, you could be right. I remember only a few months ago saying " I only want a daily driver, I'll never race this car". I should have known better.
  9. After attempting to tune my 725 cfm Holley for way too long a friend gave me a 600 cfm to try. OMG its like I found 25 HP hiding somewhere. Gonna rip into the HEI tomorrow and see how clean the weights and spring mechanism looks. No clue why I'm doing all this since I plan on pulling the engine in favor of the LT1 in a month or so or when this shoulder heals up a little more. I guess I just want this one to be the best it can be. Anyone interested in a pretty clean 725 cfm Holley?
  10. Yeah it is. Wish I could remember the name of the drag strip. Had a blast there watching Ford Thunderbolts and Sox & Martin run their Hemi. Later when I got my first new car I blew up my '66 Sunbeam Tiger on that strip. Little Ford 260 didn't like missing 3rd gear, I saw the tach go way past 6000 just before the engine started floating valves, the rest was real ugly, LOL. We also used to run at some small airport in Cincinnati but that closed after some kids wrecked during a race and died.
  11. I've been to Lawrenceburg, there was a drag stip there way back in the 60s, no clue if its still there. And Springdale is right next door to Greenhills where I went to high school.
  12. LOL' date=' I know my neighbors are wondering why this is sitting in my back yard! [img']http://www.dejavideo.net/280z8/donor17.jpg[/img]
  13. Y'all are making me homesick. I was raised in Cincinnati (Greenhills), worked in Dayton for years, then moved to Cambridge Ohio before moving to Atlanta 15 years ago. Hard to believe there are that many Z owners in Ohio
  14. I was just thinking about both these things. What is the torque for the adapters? Good idea on the Honda spare tire too. It would be a PITA to have to pull the adapter too. I just ordered 1 1/2" adapters from MM, hope to get delevery soon.
  15. Now that is one beautiful beast for sure. Amazing the weight difference wasn't more.
  16. Holy crap! That's going to be expensive, but with a 33 year old car that's to be expected I guess.
  17. Well so much for all the advice we read here before about 1 1/2" adapters and this size tire. I don't have my 1 1/2" adapters or tires yet and now I have no clue what to get for tires. I am running stock struts and didn't plan on lowering it. I guess I may have to rethink all this. I do have two 1 1/4" adapter if I have to go that way. My plan was to "fill" the wheelwell more than I have now, but if the tires stick out too far that isn't going to work. I'm so confused, LOL!!!!
  18. My vents are open too, you can see the valve cover in the pict. I think it helps with air flow though the engine compartment.
  19. Thanks. Yeah this thread has probably saved me some major grief. Sometime math will lead you astray, better to ask someone who has been there. I'm now looking at 45s and probably dropping to 215s or ever 205s with the 7" wide rims. BTW your car looks awesome.
