  1. Never replace injector wiring from a vehicle 14 to 19 years old. Geesh they have been under the hood for many of years with engine temps. It's not worth cutting corners by going the cheap route. They are very reasonably priced at any Auto Parts store. If you gotta do it.. Do it right the first time Donna
  2. Ahhhh... The joy's of programing! I can't wait to see that screen again. Donna
  3. You might want to stay away from TEP - (Steve's) Stainless steel valves. They are cheap $8.00 valves and that's if he sells you the correct valve length in the first place. My recent rebuild showed they weren't worth a darn. I went with Manley's (sp?) This was what was recommended from my highly respectable Z motor builder. They are a bit pricely, if I recall something like $22.00 a peice, but well worth it after seeing the poor quality of TEP's SS valves. If you would like further info on them you can email me. Donna
  4. Okay... James did you have to break Tim's car? Okay... So Tim say's he was driving... I was wondering how long that N/A ZX tranny was going to hold up after your new set up was done! Donna LOL.. TimZ, Thanks for the new screen saver!
  5. Beware... TEP - Steve has been known to not except packages, only to be returned to you. Then you've got to send it out again. He won't respond to your emails. Trust me on that. That's the way he's treated several of people who has spent a lot of money over there. Donna
  6. You're welcome, but I think the link expired not the actual add. I saw a phone number It's worth a try, I know you've been looking for some time now. I wish you luck too Donna

  9. Very nice job Adam! It's nice to see another ZXT using the TEC 2 Donna
  10. 280Z- Solid blue is power, solid black is ground. Three prong connector is power antenna (Blue/Red, blue/white/soild blue) You can piggy back your memory wire to your fuse box wire. Third up from the bottom (door side) This will get your unit to work A/M wire colors are usually... red=power, black=ground, blue=power antenna, yellow=memory. Speakers are gray, lavender, etc... When I purchased my 280Z I had the same problem- Stolen radio If you need further assistance you can email me and I'll give you my number to walk you through it all. I just removed a unit similar to yours from my 280Z to install it into the Z32. LOL.. which is alot easier then installation of both 76 280Z and 83ZXT Donna
  11. I can help out too with these parts if you still need them. Donna
  12. I too have done alot of research for cryogenic treatment. Just waiting for my vacation time to take off and go. I found a place in Washington that will treat my entire new engine assembly parts, including block, diff, trans, axles, rotors and a few misc, parts for 750. Donna
  13. Hey Joel.... You might want to see if the power transistor is working. I had a similar problem in the past and it was that darn little part. You'll see it on your coil bracket. Shoot me an email. if your interested. I can give you my new one that I am no longer using. Donna
  14. 83ZXT and 82ZXT ECCS numbers are A18-603 045 at least from my 2 ZXT's Donna
  15. Joel, My crank trigger is also mounted in front as TimZ said, with a custom made perfect machined billet insert for mounting it "into" the outer pully. (I can send you pics if you need) I couldn't wait around for one to be made, so I went ahead and bought a brand new Nissan unit so I could get my new motor balanced. Donna
  16. I have had my turbo(exhaust side)plus, exhaust manifold, and downpipe Jet-Hot 2000+ degree treated and it still looks just like the day I received them 3 years ago. For the higher temp treatment you have to send it to MS Jet-Hot.. Their other plants back when I looked into it didn't do the higher temp coating. The are guaranteed. Donna

    new dash?

I bought a used dash that was in perfect condition until it was shipped over here. I called an interior repair guy that we use. I was afraid they wouldn't be able to fix it. Well I let them give it a try and PRESTO!!! It's gorgeous. You "can not" see where the broken pieces and cracks shipping had done to it. On raised up old dashes they sand to level, then repair. Someone just purchased a new OEM dash pad from Nissan (ZX-price under 350.) Maybe you can call for a correct price for yours, because from what I heard they where up there too, until I saw the post regarding the real price of a dash pad. PS.. plastic dash covers do crack. Been there done that...Grrrrrr Donna
  18. You're Welcome LOL... Perhaps, I could have gave this link faster if this post was posted in the correct topic location. Donna
  19. Here you go David... Maybe this will be less confusing for you. If you want to use this as a reference guide in the future http://www.geocities.com/z_design_studio/ Donna
  20. James! You spoiled my Christmas, lol.... I wanted to wait until I opened my box up when it arrived I only wonder who's that one might be for? Donna

    ACT clutch?

I found a pretty good deal on ACT's called Foreign Auto Tech in Millbrae, off El Camino Real 650 589-3100 I agree with Tim... I am running the same ACT set up on my ZXT as TimZ... but, on my 225mm flywheel. $320 out the door. I love it!!! Sorry, no more puck style for me after all the chattering and the very short life span of 1500-2500 miles, only to have my aluminum flywheel damaged that needed to be resurfaced due to the scaring it caused. GRRRR... Donna
  22. Hey Alex.. give me a call at work on Monday Donna
  23. Yes they do. Not like new modern cars, but yes power door locks. It's a driver side locking device that controls both doors. Push the lever and it locks and unlocks both doors. Shoot, You can even add a remote door locks for $25.00 from any alarm place. It's one of the best gift I received a couple of years ago when my alarm system was installed. Remote controlled car locks If you can figure a way to do this swap for your 77 by using the ZX's that would be great Donna

  25. I believe this is the thread Len was referring to. (Hi Len ) I had mine changed to take advantage of the new exhaust manifold. So, the new cam will be like TimO's. If we didn't go Elgin's then our 2nd choice would have been the ISKY's turbo split cam. (in stock)Or, call up Elgin's, ask for John. He'll ask you alot of questions to recommend a cam based on "your" car set-up and how you want to drive it. I thought turbo configurations was fun! LOL... wait till you play with cam numbers... Donna
