  1. yeah, Eddie is great. He just finished up my brake conversion for me due to lack of time on my part and a deadline for an upcoming track day. He is the only one I would trust to work on my car other than myself.
  2. your best bet is to ask for specifics at www.my350z.com , the largest 350z forum.
  3. title says it all. Finally got my car all back together again, 4 wheel discs, tokico springs, illumina shocks and bigger master cylinder, and noticed one front wheel sticking in farther than the other. The suspension came with the car, uninstalled, off of another car, and apparently it had been wrecked, because I had already found a bent rear strut tube. Today, I found the bottom of one of the front strut tubes is slightly bent. Since I've still got the original tubes, my best bet is to get one shortened to match.
  4. it should be, the easiest way to find out is to call Jim at the number above. When I first saw it, the person said it was cancelled due to overwhelming participation, but I called and found out that was erroneous info. Since then, at least 3 of us have ordered and received wheels. I'm thinking about having my wife join NASA and ordering a set of 17s for me also.
  5. I guess I've been lucky. 2 trips there for this car (last 240 was 5 years ago). First trip, I pulled a center console, heater panel, and the radio (just for grins) out of a car in the back and he charged me $75 for everything. I only had $70 in cash, so he settled for that. 2nd trip, 2 weeks ago, I needed a new turn signal switch. My high beam wires had corroded. On the phone I was told $75 by an asian guy. When I got there, Mr. Labcoat went in the back to find one for me, and had a couple. One was broken (the other wires, I only needed the high beam portion), so he said he would give me a discount for it. I asked how much, and he said, normal price $45, but $20 for this one. Aside from his young assistant asking if my C6 corvette was a cobalt, I've had good experiences.
  6. I was thinking you could mount one of their control units in place of the lighted heater control panel from the 73 in any 240z
  7. When I was 12 Algore hadn't invented the internet yet!
  8. while I agree with you, in my county in Georgia, they actually put covers over all the magazines in the grocery store checkout lines that have any women on them, not just provocative poses. go figure/
  9. 5 years ago you could find stuff in the pick-a=part on buford hiway, but I think ebay sellers have pretty much ruined the junkyard experience. Zcar atlanta does have good prices though.
  10. I had an 83 sentra in college and raced 2 different 200sx turbos. My mods were limited to a glasspack muffler and inverted air cleaner lid and I beat both of them with no problem. Get the later V6 version. VG30
  11. maybe they swapped out hatches sometime in its history. Nevertheless, congrats!
  12. Love that body style. At first I thought you got the hatch. The focus is on the same platform as the 3, just not in the USA. I've seen the current euro focus and its pretty nice.
  13. How about the MSA version 3. It would scoop a lot of air in there.
  14. I probably would, if I knew what the paint code was!
  15. It actually is! Tokico red springs and illumina struts with the front strut housings sectioned 2"/ I think its the 205/50-15 tires that make it look tall.
  16. oh well, the details were just released on my corvette forum, and I thought it was news. At least you know what the dealer pays now.
  17. thanks, I actually debated the anthracite, but I'm not sure the car will always be green! (and I decided to be conservative.) if I get the ZG flares, which I probably will, I will paint them and the rear bumper satin black to match the front bumper, plus remove the overriders in the rear.

  19. Since I haven't put a pic of my car up yet, here it is, almost done with the suspension / 4 wheel disc upgrade. Unfortunately, I don't have time to complete it myself, so I am going to have e.radatz motorsports finish up the rears, mc and prop. valve, while I am out of town for work. Hope to get it on the track on oct. 9th. The wheels came through the NASA deal, 205/50 Falken Azenis RT-615 tires. 15x7 rewinds +0 with 1" spacers to clear my toyota front brakes (I've got the larger 280 front hubs). I think I need ZG flares now, cause the back stick out quite a bit, but almost not enough for flares either. Maybe 2" spacers are in my future. Also got the MSA new front bumper. I covered the upper grill with matching mesh to the lower and installed hella flush mount led turn signals, covered in smoke vinyl film, so you can't see them when off.
