  1. well I put a stereo together today for my room...I got the speakers from my uncle for FREE!!! The stereo is one that my grandparents had that was given to them by my other uncle . The other radio I am not sure who owned that one. It is really old and has vacuum tubes. They are all functional. The really old one is older than FM radio so it just has AM. This is the right speaker and the OLD AM radio. It is an "Admiral" The left speaker with the stereo tuner hooked up to the speakers. This puppy puts out 50 watts of power! plenty for my 12'x10' room! Is that a Z??? and my Xbox and my P3 650mhz power processor computer. This is what the speakers look like. That is a 15 inch woofer! This thing can be heard across the house and downstairs! I also got this kit yesterday. I have always wanted one...I don't know how well it will do in a dorm though. I may buy a bonsai tree that is a year or two old once I get down to college. The tree in that picture is like a year old and 4 inches tall . HybridZ membership: free Awesome stereo system: free Bonsai tree: $6 Knowing all this stuff about Z cars: priceless
  2. it won't compare to that one but.. How about a driving pic...before the home depot lip...
  3. that is a really cool spook. Just if it was full width going into some flares.. Here is my front end...It needs better tire coverage on the front though. nice and low even with no motor or tranny...
  4. cool! great advice. I would not have thought about DF... Hope you flossed after snacking...
  5. hey sparks...what Z did you take to ZdayZ? I don't think I remember meeting you. anyway there is some cool stuff on that site (zcar) but other than here, classiczcars.com beats zcar every day of the week. Zdriver is mostly a crowd of lost S30ers and BUNCH OF z33 GUYS...IMO
  6. that sounds right on the weight. My two early 260 bumpers with bumper shocks weigh a TON!!! The are all off except for the passenger rear bumper shock which looks like a pain. I can't imagine what the late 260 and 280 bumpers weigh
  7. I like those wheels. Congrats on the Z car and good to see another youg person into Zs. I bought mine a 2.5 years ago the day before I turned 16. Hybridz is THE place to learn about Z cars. What are some of the specs on the car? automatic or manual? The car looks really clean. Good luck with your new ZX Katie! oh yeah..read my signature below...
  8. cut slots in the strut towers...this is mine with the coilovers all the way down and no camber plates. front looks high because the motor and tranny are out.
  9. haha. I cut a big notch in my air dam to clear the tires. You can see how close it is in that pic of while I am cornering. My tires were rubbing like nothing else until I did the free flares.
  10. all you kids with your small wheels and tires...you need some 26"er tires like me... 225/60R15 tires baby!
  11. I was looking at more Japanese Z sites and found this one. It has a properly done G-nose and ZGs...Something could have been done to cover the front of the front tires a little more though. I don't like tires sticking out in the middle when covored on the top and on the bottom. Looks a little off.
  12. how far forward are they? thewheels are a little forward looking anyway. I put in new bushings and bigger tires and it is barely noticable.
  13. www.A1racing.com http://a1racing.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=263 This is the company that I got my coilover collars from and were very nice with me. Second link is what I think you need.
  14. that is sweet! goes a little more than just the small plastic models for sure!
  15. SWEET!!! Imagine the value of hugo just because of the videos... That car is going to be amazing when finished!
  16. That is the Monza Z...that is what my huge rally car is similar to. Veritech: I like where that exhaust comes out...it seems that the rear pan is always deleted for a rally car. Now I need a rally Z project one day...Maybe I'll put my L26ET in it when I get my new motor going...
  17. You could run a radiator big enough to supply the cooling needs and then put it as far to the passenger side as possible. Then put the IC back a few inches and have it wider than it would be when side-to-side. Run a large duct from the front and then pull more air from the brake duct (or the like) to supply enough air to be effective.
  18. Pretty cool. You going to mod it any? I like the flat black look on a cruiser style bike. There was a guy in my welding class that had a yamaha cruiser I think and we made him a pair of ape-hangers from the arms of an old exercise bike. He actually uses them too!
  19. thumbody gave me a reputation point from on here! who was it?
  20. yes!!! flame it!!! It would work great like that only on a black Z...
  21. I think this has become the official begging for reputation thread. Just a thought. ;-P
  22. You could put a piece of stainless inbetween the RAD and IC and then some exhaust shielding. Also maybe an inch of gap would not hurt with a splitter in-between the two. Sounds like a great idea since I just have a 3 row radiator and I have only gotton over 215 once sitting in traffic with no wind and a black steel hood. Surely a more narrow, yet thicker, aluminium radiator would not be a problem with a proper fan. Plus you could vent the cooler post-IC air over your turbo to keep it cool as well.
  23. I always liked the Ford RS200 rally car. The engine had a lifespan of like 12 hours from what I heard. I think it was top gear that said that. I was thinking of implementing an RS200 hood scoop onto a Z hood infront of the "power bulge". I have Rallisport challenge for the Xbox and it has a bunch of group B cars...insanely fast and horrible handling for the most part. Fun to drift through the mud though. Hey ZROSSA would you mind me using your front end in a sketch? it is your idea though. I would not use it for anything other than here on this thread.
  24. I am guessing it would fit since the buckets look stock. *edit* oh wait...never mind. I just saw the side shot...lol
