here are my coilover perches welded on I ground off original spring perches while my friend Zack (who has a red lighning) TIG welded the perches on. I could have welded it but I had a limited time at the shop of 4 hours.

cool it will look sweet I think. I was just going to make mine look like a bruise if I did the black/blue because of too much black.

oh yeah...$18 in two small cans of paint(will need another can of black) one red one black $15 in rollers, pan, and roller handle need to buy sandpaper to wetsand with. I have some 120 grit for the first coats..

yep...good luck on your paintjob. I always like to see a Z in this phase. therre areso many possibilities with paint on an s30...bre, rally, big stripes, small stripes, graphics or no...so why black and blue? I was thinking of blue with my black but then I thought...my Z will be a big bruise...lol That is because I was going to use more black than blue but those photochops look good

what he said...that is why you don't want to drop your helmet too much...you could damage the LCD screen and then the darkening won't be even all the way across. It will be blotchy with spots of light and some spots dark.

so is anyone here going? I am sending them my registration tomorrow. Just found out about it today.

yeah it is red, cheap flourescent lighting, and my garage is packed with all those cheap tools... notice the green toolbox screwed into the wall...lol that was not my idea. but I am the one that goes to Harbor Freight and Northern to buy cheap tools. I have a lot of pictures on my worklog over in the miscellanious (that is spelled wrong) tech board.

11k miles later I started some serious performance work. here is when my Z was down back in the late fall of 05 when I blew a roll pin on the gear side of the shift rods. I also took the time while the Z was down to install the new rotors and*EDIT*84-89 yota calipers*not- 79'-85' yota 4x4 calipers. you can see where there is no metal in the wheelwell there. just a hole and then the tar lining on the inside. there is what I thought was a painted caliper... boy was I wrong. it is now all rusty so I just have to clean it and use my dandy little caliper painting kit from Autozone. my 15x8 Diamond racing wheels that fit like a charm over the toyota calipers unlike those Eagle wheels here is the underside if my Z...look at the passenger side...time to fix that. And my brand new front diff mount. the mock up for my switch panel that will be integrated into my aluminium console. my new tires are over an inch taller than my old ones my new power lights attached to the hood with no cutting or welding at all to the hood. right after christmas...boy did those tires scrape on the stock fenders before I hammered them out like in this picture. March 2nd was when my coilover stuff came in. here is a dash that I did for someone else and it is going to be painted black so aluminium finish was not important. I am going to be making a full dash for mine. I can make you one too!!! pm me if you are interested. this was March 6th. the next day it was in lots of pieces...lots...lol here it is now. it is going to get black on the bottom half and red on top(soon to do hood and top of front fenders) A few more later after I upload for a while.

not just that...L28 with a header, very little rust, lots of sweet magazines, maybe a little rust where the battery goes(mine is a gaping hole), and the body is straight! just time to strip it down to see the real condition on that thing.

I think with the black bottom it will be awesome! The hood will be red and I am thinking of doing the top of the hood bump in black. I'll see what it looks like in just red first though. I just have to get it together for the ZdayZ run at the "Tail of the Dragon" and the car show that will be there...not going to be a show stopper by any means but it will be fun. what is the best way to polish my stock aluminium intake and round tops? might do it to make them look a little better.

okayyyyy... that is like an oil change for a ferrari...what's the big deal? just because a manual is more than anyone here has put into an engine means nothing when it comes to ferraris...lol

do you have to pay for people to ride along in your car? It says that additional guests are $20. Is that for guests driving their own cars or ride-a-longs?

Maybe I can have my Z back together by then...maybe my dad could come in his 944T as well...if they would allow it...

is your front dana 60 a passenger or driver side pumpkin? I have a friend looking for a passenger side pumpkin Dana 60...

I think I know where that is...I may have been there but it was a long time ago before I even thought about owning a car...now I am looking for places to go driving once I get this pesky thing back together in a few weeks...

look down on this forum Body kits and paint until you see the thread about vw flares...any vw bug fender from 1940 or so up until one of the 1980's and even 90's old style bugs...

will do...it sems like it will e a real easy setup since there is soo much room without A/C...

plannin' on it...and when I'm not welding just pop the belt off to not put drag on the engine. I mean how many people have a 200hp welder with headers? well soon to be 200hp...
