  3. I am very interest in a set of 1 3/4 headers. My setup is a LS2 in a 71 240. I wont be at the stage of need the headers until the spring. Hopefully someone can confirm if they will clear John's motor mounts and I will buy a set. If prooven I am willing to put a deposit on a set.
  4. My other car is a 93 mustang coupe with a 03-04 Cobra engine, tranny, and brake swap. I have so many extra parts for the mustang around here I was hoping to utiize some of the brakes and rotors in the 240Z. In adittion I have 3 different sets of rims laying around. The front rims should bolt on, but the rear will need spacers. Bolt pattern I am looking for is 5x114.3 I have read about the modern motorsports setup 13" setup but the website looks to be gone. Other people seem to have used the same bolt pattern on there cars but I can't identify what vehicle or parts were swapped. TIA Ryan
  5. Does it affect leg room? The only issure I see is that some of use are running coilover and camber plates on the rear
  6. Im considering giving this a try in my 240Z. I wont if ford makes a racepack control harness and ecu for the V6?
  7. I have the mustang for a drag car. This car will be setup for road course and street. I'm going to look for a newer camaro gas tank the fuel nice on the correct side. It sounds like a good choice. I want the pump inside the tank as I hate the noise from externals. Anyone have pictures of there setup? Curious of how people held them in place.
  8. Those Tau engine are gutless. No torque at all. No more projects until the datsuns complete dammit!

  10. I have read that some people are using an LS gas tank in there Datsun's. Has anyone here completed the setup? Pictures how it looks and install info would be most appreciated.
  11. I blew apart my rear axles on my mustang last fall, I feel your pain. New rear Was 1600.00 and metal bits were everywhere. Ever had the car dynoed? If now whats the engine info?
  12. thats around 11.3 in the 1/4. That pretty darn good for the soft launches. I think the axles are ok because your leaving soft. What HP is your car making?
  13. Here's my 1971 240Z ( now being converted to LS power) and my 93 LX coupe powered by 4.6 4V cobra motor, 6 speed, coilovers, cobra brakes, build rear.
  14. Used on friend cars with pretty good results. Peeled off as advertised on the smooth surfaces. The rough cast stuff was hard to remove.
  15. LS1 transmissions = expensive. Get a LS1 or L33, motor.
  16. The problem with the LS motors is the trannies. THere expensive to find used. I want an LS1 or preffered LS2 dropout. The trannies are crazy. people asking 3-4K just for the tranny used is stupid.
  17. You can try racing my stock motored foxbody with a 4.6 4V and eaton bolted. Car doesnt even have headers, stock manifolds and meets emissions
