  1. I know I've said it to many times before but, I just love the paint job. Can't wait for some action shots!
  2. I personally think you should have asked more questions before the tune. Also, he should have know that you were not going to be cool with a quicky for 425.00. Dosen't matter how many he's done you still want to feel like you got your moneys worth.
  3. I really like the photoshop of the s30. Make me think about getting a s130 and doing that to it.
  4. Now, that you have it back in your hands I wonder if you've ever thought of sending it to one the guys in the lower 48 to have it finished? Seems like it would get finished right if it were in a shop that had some competition.
  5. It's not that the old rims sucked its more that the new wheels look great! They also match the car better.
  6. That looks great. I really like that better than the rims you had.
  7. Thanks for the info. I was afraid you were going to say that. Looks like I'm going to have a small fortune in seals and such things when it comes time for reassembly. On a side note I drove the car around the block without the windsheild or the hatch on and Wow the wind really moves you. Must be what it feels like on on a bike.
  8. You might try renting an installer form Autozone. You get your money back when you return it. Personally I've only installed OEM balancers that went on like normal.
  9. Hey guys, I know I haven't really talked about it much but, I'm the process of painting my ZX much like 80LT1 just did. Anyway, I'm taking it down to the metal and I can't seem to get it done near the rear hatch glass. So I guess I need to know how to remove the rear glass without breaking it. I already have the rest of the glass out and this is the last piece that needs to be removed. I searched and didn't find any info about how to remove the glass in the ZX. As far as I know you can just push it out carefully. Is this true? Any hints or tricks? Thanks, Cody
  10. Wow, You've been through alot in the last two years! Glad to hear your doing ok and have come back home.
  11. Wow, I love it. I guess I need to go out an work on mine instead of looking at yours. Looks great.
  12. I get customers like this all the time. Really makes me wonder what's going on in these peoples heads. I guess the answer is that nothing is going on in their heads.
  13. Can't wait to see the real pics. So far it looks great!
  14. You have to pull the extra plate that is mounted to the rear of the crank off and then the flywheel will fit. The plate comes off pretty easy.
  15. I have set of 245/40/17's on the rear of my ZX and they don't rub. The 245/45/17's I had on the rear did rub on occasion. Maybe that will help you with what will or will not fit.
  16. I would think it would be the last time that guy did anything for me! Looks like he needs to be promoted to customer.
  17. Love it! Great job! keep em coming.
  18. Send it in to them for a topic!
  19. Back when my car wasn't in paint jail i used to get all kinds of crazy reactions.
  20. I have the same helmet and have been real happy with it for the last 4 years.
  21. Thats an awesome find. Glad you got it. Hope to see more pics of it as you uncover more of it's history.
  22. Yes, it's normal. You can't open up the intake as much as the throttle body opening without welding in new material.
  23. Now that's some water! Sorry to see that. Hope he has flood insurance.
