  1. Sorry to hear that happened. Mine has been broken into 5 times but, never stolen. I'll keep an eye here on my side of the Z world.
  2. I was thinking after I first read this that he just needs to finish your car and not tell you what kind of times you need to run! Wow, You've really earned some kind of medal for having waited this long on the car.
  3. All that water in your house is just crazy! I can't even imagine being as calm about it as you are. Wish we had some of that rain. I live about a 1/4 mile from the lake and it would have to rain forever to over flow as dry as it's been here the last few years.
  4. I had the Z 31 seats in my ZX for about 2 years and they fit better and were more supportive than the Corbeau seats that I have now. The Corbeau seats are a good seat but, they are a little wide and they have already started to fade. After I get the car painted the seats are on the list.
  5. take a look at how I did mine. Seems to work well. I only had it like this for about 2 months before I put the car into paint jail. http://www.angelfire.com/space/nismo1turbo/indexengineinstall.html
  6. I agree I rebuilt a set for my 280ZX (similar caliper) Those things are hard to get put back together correctly. This one thing that I would recommend just buying something already rebuilt.
  7. Same here! I walked across the lot at work and wasn't sure what it was for awhile.
  8. You need the sharp edges for the spark to jump on to. That's one reason you replace the plugs.
  9. I really like that! I have been thinking about replacing my Prelude with a S-2000 next year. Looks like that would be a fun combination.
  10. Good info from Thumper. I have also filed the electrode to almost point and it seeemed to help. Try it on a old set of plugs and see if makes any difference for you. If it helps then try it on a new set.
  11. Good looking install! Makes me wish I had done something else with my rails.
  12. Looking really good. Love the mods so far. keep the pics coming!
  13. I work in an area of town where this is very popular. But, I've never heard of some of this!
  14. There should be settings on the inside lid of your welder that you can use as a guide. After you use those you can taylor the setting to what your experience tells you.
  15. I remember that! I'm in Texas near the Dallas area. Weathers great right now but, it'll be real hot soon.
  16. Wow that's a nice car. Can't beleive we haven't seen you on here before!
  17. I think that Davy has some good advise here. And yes you can have to many projects at once. I only say this from the other persons point of view. Most people like to start a project and finish it. That's what we're all taught in school. As we get older and the ability to do whatever we want comes open we loosen up on that and start a few things that we are intreasted in and then it happens "too many projects." When I get to that point I try to step back and finish he things I can get done quickly or are on the top of the honey do list first and then go back to my personal stuff. It's funny I had several projects that were small and not real time consumming task that were driving my wife crazy because they were unfinished. Persoanlly I didn't put much weight into the project because it was small. After talking to her and actually listening I found out she really wanted these things finished and didn't really care how much time I spent on the car after that. So basically sometimes you have to take a step back and work on some other things so you'll have time to do the things you want to do.
  18. No dought that thing is going to flow great at air RPM's. I wonder what the injector placement and the large runners are going to do to low RPM drivablilty? What type of car is it going in? Street car or full race?
