  1. Don't get me wrong I love Harbor Freight for somethings like gloves, grinding wheels and 2.98 multi testers that if you lose or run over it doesn't matter. The welder I have now is a Hobart and like many things I'm very happy with it but, I still think I could have bought better but, it would have cost more for similar features.
  2. Personally I think I would pass on it. I had and still have but, never use one of the Harbor freight 110v welders and it sucked. I was very new at welding so I didn't know how bad until I started looking at welding on the web. I finally bought a new welder about 6 months ago and it's so much better. The exact same wire in the new welder was easier and much cleaner.
  3. There is also the 300zx computer that many have used. Search on this site for more info on it.
  4. There shouldn't be any blocked off passages. All oil holes and coolant holes should have free passage into and out of the head as it was designed.
  5. I ported mine a couple of years ago and it's amazing how much material can come out of there. I've got another one and some day I plan to really open it up to see how far I can go.
  6. It's an 82/83. You can always tell by the bumper covers and the trim between the side windows.
  7. Wow, that's really turning out nice. Makes the couple of rust spots I'm working on today look like childs play.
  8. That looks like a stock one to me. I had thought about filling the back with fiberglass resisn then sanding the ridges flush and covering it with a overlay of carbon fiber. If the windows are tinted then it doesn't stand out as much.
  9. I looked it up and he's only 4.11 miles from my house. I'll swing by and see if I can find anything out, hopefully tommarow (Christmas party at the inlaws most of the day). By Monday I should have some sort of contact or visual on the place. Mike, I'll let ya know if any help is needed. Hopefully the guy has just been to lazy to take them to UPS and ship them. Just so you know the UPS hub is only about 2.5 miles from my house and even closer to his.
  10. I thought welded shafts would be a proublem but, the ridge in the middle of the shafts made me wonder?
  11. Are those welded together in the center? Or did they just swap around parts to make what you needed?
  12. The fastest I've been in boat was 78 mph and I can't imagine going 110 mph. That was cool to hear the turbo's spool.
  13. I've always thought these were cool mirrors and have thought about putting them on my ZX but, thought they might be a little small. I'd love to see them on a car.
  14. I would suggest running a stock Nissan H.G. and retorquing the studs or bolts after warm up and such. Hope it was just a small coolant line leak and not the H.G.
  15. Nice work! Looks like it's going to be a good combination.
  16. Something tells me that they don't have one.
  17. It must rain alot there. If you did all that here everything would be on fire after the first clip.
