I use the short head bolts with washers to take up the slack

Running coilovers with 225-50-16. No rubbing. Car is very low. -

Been running mine for 12 months or so. Works great. I run the mechanical fan to help with cooling though.

Its the damper..... The ruber in the damnper is rotted. You said when you drive through water it will squeel also. So open the hood and hit the damper with a water hose. I have seen the belt and accesories stop before. It may not be thee damner but my money is on it.
