  1. Make sure to fix all your vacuum leaks. I would also check the fuel pressure.
  2. For anybody wandering, who they are. Sounds like they wouldn't want the bad rep, but who knows. I would do a credit card charge back. http://www.facebook.com/pages/BRC-Performance/144360645584133?v=info
  3. It's been a while and I don't have access to my tools right now, but they were 2 3V button cells( I think it was CR3032). You have to pry it open and then remove the old batteries (spot welded to tabs) then just install the new ones. Worked great.
  4. The HF ones are great for the price. Cheap to replace. Mine lasted ~2+ years before the non replaceable batteries died. So I replaced them. ( ;
  5. It does sound like you are running rich. How far dose your tail pipe extend beyond the rear valance? bumper?
  6. I't would really help if you provided more information. The big question, why are you rebuilding the motor?
  7. Search the site. Your goals are easyly achieved with the L28 with much less work and money.
  8. If it has the stock gas tank, it doesn't have an intake pump.
  9. Have you looked into TechShop? They have some pretty amazing equipment. Definatley worth the membership for just the CNC mill time not to mention their piles of other fancy toys. Like 3D printers, vacuum forming setups, (CNC mills, lathes, laser cutter, plasma cutters), MIG's, TIG's, etc, too much to list. The place is a tool junkies dream land.
  10. I'd say it's more than a fair price for a 70 in that condition. Better pick it up, before someone else dose.
  11. You probably have a restriction in your fuel supply. Test the pressure under load.
  12. Very cool, and good luck with the first pull. It's always fun playing with new processes. I think it'll come out great, like everything else you've built.
  13. If you do pick it up, I have a set of windows you can have for free but need to be picked up in the next couple of days.
  14. If you planing on using it for anything else besides drag racing, I would look for a different car. It would take a lot to make that thing streetable.
  15. What are your plans for the car, if you buy it? Also, that's not original paint.
  16. Use a noid light, it's simple and pretty much idiot proof
  17. Have you checked to see if the injectors are getting a pulse?
  18. Looks great. Need more pictures. Keep up the good work.
