  3. in bay area. stock sequential twin turbo from a 13b-re. some mild play in the shaft. either that or it goes in the trash
  4. i had one fail as well, but only because it wasn't greased. I've since learned to put axle grease on the threads, and I've used to the same set to pull 3-4 sets of springs also, do not buy spring compressors from MSA- they just resell the HF spring compressors at triple cost
  5. or you can get a set for 9-10 bucks from harbor freight tools. just make sure to grease the compressor threads before using them

  13. Well, a few years ago I used Roger Kraus Tires to do coilover adjustment and alignment in Castro Valley: http://rogerkraustires.com/ I've heard good comments about Custom Alignment in SJ, although a bit on expensive side, but supposedly very worth it: http://www.customalignment.com/
  14. It's programmer geek humor... it's not a bug, it's a feature!
  15. but if you're missing hte bushing, yes, it's very needed
  16. no,. i think he means the metal bracket. this is normal, it exists only on driver's side to protect the bushing from exhaust heat. it's a heat shield

  19. I just took some 3/4" diameter pipe and cut it up with an angle grinder to make the spacers. Offset the control arm like stock bushings offset it towards the front
