  1. If you have the alternator and compressor on separate sides and maybe custom mounts you should be able to make it work. I visit my Brother in AZ once in a while so I know what your dealing with. I guess you don't have any other choice but to make it work. Good luck!
  2. I paid a FRIEND under $2500 for anything I needed off his 06. I don't have the exact figures but spent more money on driveshaft work, FPR, and exhaust system. If your not looking to do it yourself I could see this swap going past the 10k mark easy.
  3. I've been mountain biking for about 4 months now and recently have been consumed with downhill riding. Only good things are happening (accept for injuries) since I've been riding. Lost 20 LBS in the first month, drinking LOTS of water, better sleep, more energy, perspective on surrounding socal mountains, and most important I get to build/mod/tune my bike and enjoy rinding it. I really wish I had been introduced sooner. Here's my ride. It's an 05 Haro X1. Mod list includes : Fox DHX rear shock, Marzocchi Jr.t forks, Magura brakes 8''front 7'' Rear, Sram x-9 deraileur, Maxxis Minion tires 2.7 front/2.5 rear. It's considered an "all mountain" bike which it truly is to me. I like to pedal up hills on weekdays, and do shuttle downhill runs on the weekends. Hopefully someday I'll be able to fork out 2-3 grand for a nice downhill spec bike. For now this will do, or until my riding buddies with DH bikes can pass me going down. I'm really looking forward to riding mammoth lakes next month for some DH action. Here's an awsome vid of one of the trails called velocity: BTW if anyones interested in riding the LA area PM me.
  4. I'm thinking.. Better weight distribution/transfer Stickier rubber Taller rear end for better modulation Traction control
  5. Just making sure but, are you twisting in the pistons when you push them in for new pads? and are you lining up the notches on the pads with the grooves on the caliper?
  6. Stop promoting CA this place is already crowded enough! It is really is hard for visitors not to like CA though..
  7. That's not bad at all considering you have power windows and full interior.
  8. Nice finishing touch dude. I like! I think your 350Z is going to be jealous for a while.
  9. I dont have access to my car right now but I know all of the harnesses can only be plugged into the correct sensor so it's really hard to mess this up. You should search around for a service manual. It has very detailed diagrams of all the harnesses and their designations.
  10. I only had one left over harness in that area and It's for the power steering.
  11. Your doing a great job. Be sure to protect your glass from pitting when griding/cutting.
  12. Cool project. Good luck Alex. I didnt know you had a formula D licence
  13. What do you plan to do with the car? if your trying to do stuff like that then your much better off just removing your stock open differential and having a trusted welded weld the spider gears together. If your just trying to do burnouts and having fun it's much easier, and cheaper to weld the stock diff. You can search here, or google to how weld a differential.

  15. A friend has those seats on his S13. They barley fit. I doubt they'l fit an S30.
  16. I stacked my washers in this configuration )))((( so that the washers act like 2 heavy washers. I was shooting for a heavy initial pre-load to compensate for gear/washer wear over time. I measured around 50-60 ft/lbs after assembly (dry). I'll have to measure it again after everything wears down a bit and gets lubed.
  17. This isn't some cutting edge technology were talking about here. If the Chinese knew nothing about metallurgy/ heat treatment why does my 50 year old China made AK-47 still fire rounds so flawlessly?
  18. If your talking about the main relay box ( big one) under the hood, yes im using that one also.
  19. Who's primered RB powered 240Z is that? I think I saw it rolling off the 118 in Pacoima one time.
  20. I used 4 washers just which is how it came in the first place and stacked mine ))))((((
  21. Yes, to an extent. I really think that's quaifes selling point more than anything. The part is sooo darn simple It makes sense to throw a lifetime warranty on the part just to have that edge over the other diffs. Even OBX has a lifetime warranty. It just shows that anyone can back such a simple, low/ no maintenance differential.
  22. I agree. I prefer heavy rear spring, no rear ARB, and a one way.
